“Love this bookstore! It seems like someone's front porch but the bookstore is cozy and has a great collection of books. They have all genres of books, stickers, Agnes Scott Merch, and Knick knacks. There is ample parking in the back of the store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They carry a superb collection of books on "Politics of Place", "Women and Race", and "Children's Books". It is a reader's heaven and a perfect place to buy a gift. The books are moderately priced. They have month-wide events for readings and discussions. I highly recommend bringing yourself here with a cup of coffee and kindling your thoughts with some amazing reads.”

“I'd never been to BAM. I visited to buy more books as I finished the ones I brought on my trip. It's a typical book and calendar store along with extras to buy. That's where the treasures are hidden. I bought a Care Bears mug for a friend's birthday similar to one I got as a kid. There are tons of Funko Pops. There were characters I didn't know they'd made. If you're in a particular fan base, I highly recommend going through the entire store looking at these items. I found a Camp Crystal Lake decoration for a friend. BAM offers a rewards program for $20 annually. I didn't buy it because we don't have this store where I live. But you can use it online too.”

“There was a time all Atlanta had was Barnes & Noble, A Cappella, and Atlanta Classic Books. With the death of B&N, we have been missing a bookstore with a great selection of books both for adult and children (and they even have some games). And now here it is! With a more intimate feel than VaHi Books. I’m an A Cappella regular, but loved this spot as I can shop for our whole family. And the booksellers are very knowledgeable and are clearly proud of the store. 100% will be back.”

If you’re Cthulu fans, do check out their collections from time to time to get limited edition with cool cover, poster, and way-above-expectation illustrations (really amazing). “The area included as a national recreation area is several spread apart destinations along the river. Here, the focus is on a part of the river that is relatively easy to wade in. It looked fairly natural, but with all the signs about water quality and the degree of urban sprawl in Atlanta, I wouldn't expect great things. The muddy banks gave way to a wadeable area and a small island. Trails ran through hillier parts of the riverbank as well. Near the visitor center, a boat launch offered the chance for canoes and water rings to get down easily. It wasn't amazing, and you do need a parks pass, but it is a nice place to cool down.”
