“I initially called on Saturday to find out their closing time and had other questions..I ended up speaking with Connor. He was incredibly helpful. I let him know I’d be coming in on Monday, and he was just as friendly over the phone as everyone was in person when I finally visited yesterday.
When I arrived, the whole team was warm and welcoming. Ellen assisted me with trying on shoes. I am brand new to tennis and I am also very indecisive but she was so patient and made the process easy and enjoyable. With her help, I found the perfect pair. “When I went to buy a bike, I intended to get the cheapest one in the store. At the REI Bike shop, I met Candice, the bike store manager. She was incredibly knowledgeable about bikes! After listening to her talk about the affordable option, I asked her to tell me about the most expensive bike they had. Once again, she impressed me with her expertise and suggested I test both bikes.
I made the mistake of trying the more expensive model, the DRT 3.3, first. It blew me away instantly. I told her I wanted to buy that bike and skip testing the others. I should mention that Candice was gently guiding me towards the lower-cost option, which speaks volumes about REI’s commitment to customer satisfaction over profit.
In the end, I left with an amazing bike, and I’m really grateful to Candice and the entire team at the bike shop. The experience made me feel like I wasn't just buying a bike but becoming part of a very cool community.”
