“We LOVED our stay at the Royal Palms Motel! We are so excited to have a cute place to stay when we come to Tybee. The location is right across from the beach, with a safe crosswalk at the corner. Also walking distance to a market.
The bed was very comfortable, as well as the pillows and towels. I loved being able to open the windows for fresh air. There was plenty of space for our bags. We couldn’t recommend this place enough.”
“Loved my stay here! My favorite was the ocean breeze across the porches! This is a very old antiquated house but it offers free WiFi. The Mermaid Gift Shop is a must-see! All the tenants are very friendly & helpful. Each room is unique. Heather manages the place like a Champ! She goes Above & Beyond to help anyone the best that she can. Great location to the beach & the main drag & the Pier. Best experience I have ever had on Tybee Island!”
“Nice old school beach place. Only ( funny) issue we had was trying to figure out what kind of bird frog or animal was making that noise near the kitchen. Finally found the smoke detector stuffed in an oven mitt wrapped in a towel stuffed in a drawer. Removed the battery and left on the counter so it can be replaced and returned to where it goes. It was a great scavenger hunt!”

“The view is beautiful, as well as the sands. Beware of teen group, they publicly humiliated and bullied my sister for wearing a cat ear headband, and her boy friend had to set them straight. They continued after we walked away. Cut the mood down...”
