Right after close of business, he personally shifted through recently deposited letters to make sure my item was postmarked on time!!!

“My actual name is Karen.(don't hold it against me)...I want to say Thank You So So Much to this specific post office! I filed a claim for lost mail yesterday March 6th 2024 around 11:00am. I got an email from Church Street saying they were on the case. By 9:00 p.m. The Same Day it was handled and on the way to them. It's on the way to me today, not 24 hours later! “Before visiting the United States Postal Service location in East Point, GA, I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant. I had read several negative reviews mentioning poor customer service and overcharging, so I went in expecting the worst. Thankfully, my experience was the complete opposite.
From the moment I stepped up to the counter, USPS employee T. Jones completely changed my perception of this location. She was extremely pleasant, professional, and efficient, even while handling a steady flow of customers. What stood out the most was her ability to remain calm, patient, and genuinely helpful no matter the situation in front of her.
T. Jones was not only quick but also a truthful and knowledgeable problem-solver. She took the time to clearly explain options, answer questions honestly, and ensure each customer was taken care of properly without rushing or showing frustration. It was clear she takes pride in her work and understands how much good customer service matters, especially in a fast-paced environment like the post office.
Thanks to her, my visit was smooth, stress-free, and efficient. Experiences like this deserve recognition, especially when employees go above and beyond despite the negative reputation that sometimes surrounds their workplace.
If you’re on the fence about visiting the East Point USPS location, I highly recommend giving it a chance and if you’re lucky enough to be helped by T. Jones, you’re in excellent hands. She is a true asset to the United States Postal Service and a great example of what customer service should look like.”
