She was a puppymill dog and she was paranoid. To have left her overnight alone in a crate would have probably made her a basket case.

I have 4 dogs and switched veterinary practices to them about a year and a half ago and I’m so thankful for it. I’ve never had a problem getting a same day sick visit which was essential for me. Everyone there from the front desk, Vet Thechs to Dr.Hirst & Dr.Hayden are outstanding! They really care about your fur babies, never rush you and answer every last question you have. (Then bravely protecting said smoke-filled premises from the first responders until her handler arrived on scene…) South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital, and specifically, Dr. Grasso‘s attention to detail, level of care, and the general friendly professionalism of the staff was incredible. They were able to answer all of our questions, provide thorough and detailed explanation and documentation, and have now given us a great Veterinarian clinic to rely on in the future. We could not recommend them more highly!

From the consult, to even 2.5 months post op they have provided amazing care to our pup who unfortunately had to have his leg amputated. We need to have him sedated whenever he needs his nails trimmed and vaccines. Dr. Elizabeth Hamblin is excellent and always takes the time to explain what work was done and make recommendations. Also a special callout to Taylor for prepping Cooper and setting him up for the Doctor.

From the time we walked in, everyone was compassionate for our stressful and emotional situation. While in the exam room, a thorough examination was done and it was decided Bear needed surgery. We were given an itemized bill so we could see exactly what we would be paying for. I was nervous to leave my baby overnight, but, the staff assured me they would update me and that they did. Even telling me when he was going into surgery. A heartfelt thank you to everyone for being so wonderful! Haven’t really found a vet home yet, but, think we just did! Can’t thank you enough for everything! Bear is recovering and will see you soon for sutures removal.

Especially, Kaytlyn, she is an exceptional nurse (I hope I spelled your name right, thank you!!). Shes excellent at breaking down complex topics and she truly cares about people's pets and their situations. We were very lucky that Simba fell into her care.
We had to take in Simba for initially an endoscopy but we were told it was no longer an option and he had to have surgery.
The team was quick and the total visit cost less than what we were initially quoted. And, even when we took Simba back, the team made sure to answer all of our questions and provide us with options to contact them.
If your little feline friends is ever in trouble — I highly recommend this place!

OTCK9 has been amazing with both of our dogs. We’ve seen huge improvements in obedience, leash manners, barking, impulse control, and overall calmness in the house.
The trainers are patient, knowledgeable, and really focus on structure, consistency, and communication — not just commands. They also do a great job teaching the owners how to continue the training at home.
Highly recommend for anyone with stubborn, reactive, or high-energy dogs. ???

The Kemp-Durham House, built in the 1890s, is a recognized downtown historic site currently housing Ipp's Pastaria & Bar.
The bartender was extremely helpful fulfilling special requests of our favorite chicken or salmon franchese, which is not on their menu but is on the Ippolitos menu. The chef made it just as delicious - note the pasta portion is about 1/2 of Ippolitos - we ordered an additional side to add to each dish.
The spaghetti and meat sauce with meatballs is very good and you get the two rolls and marinara per entree.

125 E Main St, WoodstockI’ve been coming to Century House in Woodstock for years, and I’ve never had a bad meal. Every visit has been consistently excellent, and in my opinion, it’s some of the best food you’ll find in Woodstock.
If you’ve never been here, you’re missing out. The burgers are hands down the best in town, and the grits are outstanding. Even the fries deserve recognition—they’re perfectly seasoned and easily hold their own against any restaurant around.
Century House continues to set the standard for great food, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

The Woods were amazing and set an the perfect vibe. Kaylee informed us we earned a free dessert as well! The food was amazing too; I had the perfect steak in my burrito! Refuge Rescue
8744 Main St, WoodstockI reached out to Michelle when I took in a dog from a neighbor who did not want him. She did everything in her power to help me find a rescue for him. Luckily I found a loving home and family for him but she worked endlessly too find a foster before I found his forever family! She never made me feel dumb for all of the questions I had. Even when she was busy she had someone to message me back when I reached out. She is an amazing lady and absolutely loves and care for every animal!
