“Everything went great. Pick up and drop off worked exactly like they said it would, and was fast and easy. Car had some wear on it, but ran great the whole trip (we even took the northern road to Hana and back. Check your rental agreement if you want to go beyond Hana!).
After booking it, I emailed them to add beach chairs and an ice chest to our rental. They emailed me right back, and they were in the car at pick up as planned. It cost $26 to get out of the parking lot when you pick it up, which they tell you when you book it. Total cost was still less than most others, and it's nice to "shop local" and use a Maui based company instead of the usual rental giants.”

“Mana Vans Hawai’i was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the process was seamless. They were extremely accommodating and flexible when we had a last-minute change, and the van we received was exactly as advertised—well-maintained, cozy, and super comfortable. It truly was the best way to explore Maui and the Road to Hana. The owner was professional, friendly, and even shared amazing beach recommendations.
The bed was perfect, and we slept wonderfully. The fridge and freezer worked flawlessly, with plenty of space for nearly a week’s groceries. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was ample storage in the cabinets and under the bed.
Everything was simple to use—flip a switch, and the solar system reliably powered our off-grid adventures. We couldn’t have asked for a better van rental and would recommend Mana Vans Hawai’i without hesitation!”

“Quick and efficient process at OGG with friendly staff and a clean, well maintained vehicle. I specifically reserved a jeep although with my status that may not have been necessary. After a quick stop at the counter to collect my vehicle assignment it was a short walk to the rental lot. The attendant pointed me to any of the numerous available jeeps so I got to pick my preferred color and trim as available. Returns were quick and easy too with friendly and professional staff!”

“Okay…. So I rented from kimos before doing any research. I was looking for the cheapest option possible and this was it. After booking I searched up the reviews…. I was nervous…. BUT when I arrived at the airport it was so incredibly easy to get my car, although my car wasn’t the shining star with low miles she got the friggin job done! I only expected to go from point A to point B but this little beaut got me to point C!!! My first ever rental car and I couldn’t have had a better bank friendly experience. “I highly recommend Maui Mini Go. I was visiting Maui for the first time, and did not realize that to better experience the island I would need a car. After checking the usual rental places, and having the hotel staff call a local place, I found Maui Mini Go via a search and gave them a call. David was immediately helpful, and had a car ready to go. He was forthright about an issue with the remote for the doors, and confirmed I still wanted the car. He brought the car to me, and when I returned it he provided me transport to the airport. I had a fantastic experience with Maui Mini Go, and they will be my go to when I visit in the future. “Had a great experience with Maui Budget Cars and would suggest them to anyone. Car we received ran great until it had a headlight bulb go out. We reached out and let them know immediately. They met us after hours and switched out the car giving us a free upgrade to an even nicer vehicle for the inconvenience of a headlight going out. (Something completely outside of their control.) “Staff was excellent! It was an pleasant experience and the proximity to our resort made it possible to pick up and drop off the rental with no lines and only a short walk. We rented a truck and were easily able to navigate some areas where the pavement was rough and uneven.”
“I would give them a six on a 5-point scale. Although they are closed on a Sunday they made arrangements for me to pick up the car outside of their business on Sunday morning. It was very simple. Return was also very easy. They are located about a mile or so from the ship docking on Uber was around $8. The Volkswagen Jetta was a very very good car, clean with about 14,000 mi on it. Everything was done by email and text and they were very polite and helpful. Very happy with a rental experience.”

“Gone are the days of lining up and taking the corporate buses to the rental car locations on the outer perimeter of the airport; now just cross the street to the tram and be transported to the car rental center (you can walk if that's your thing, too). Preferred members can go downstairs to pick up your car, otherwise you can use the upper floor counter service. Exiting the airport is pretty easy and fast now, though returning your car requires you cross a number of lanes to your left to reach the lower level entrance of the rental car garage, located just before the departure side of the terminal.”
“My family and I just recently traveled to Maui and rented our jeep from Hawaii Lifted. Amazing experience from start to finish! They communicated consistently with me, dropped the jeep off as soon as we received our bags, and the jeep was super clean upon receiving it. The jeep took us around the island without any issues, and got a lot of head turns. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend using them when you travel to Maui.”
