“This is probably the friendliest post office I've ever been to. Most postal workers couldn't care less. The older gentleman working here was so nice and polite.”

“Look for the blue arch that says " Eaton Square", you will see a pretty Koi pond, and the post office is on the second floor that you can walk up to. Elevators not needed.”

“Despite the busy holiday season, they are always friendly & helpful. Even if I didn't live in Kaneohe, I'd probably drive out to this location just because they're so nice.”

“People hating on the USPS need to chill. It isn't a business, it's a government service. It is part of the baseline, rudimentary infrastructure that makes things run, like roads or emergency services. UPS, Fedex, etc. would not be profitable businesses if they were responsible for providing the services that USPS does, such as deliver mail to rural locations, provide low price flat rate shipping, and media mail. I agree that USPS could be more efficient and sometimes can be frustrating and slow, but we can't have widely accessible public infrastructure if companies like FedEx and UPS don't pay their fair share of taxes, underpay their employees, and only operating in regions which are profitable, leaving the unprofitable parts to USPS, our friends and public servants.”

“I had the extreme pleasure of being served by Faye last week, and the experience couldn't have gone smoother. She was about to step around the counter when she saw that I was carrying a heavy package but I ran up so she instead reached over the counter to pull it up. She then proceeded to very sweetly and patiently walk me through the entire process of sending the package to Japan. I can't remember when I've had a more pleasant interaction at the post office. She is a definite asset to the Kaimuki branch as well as the entire U.S. Postal system!”

“I love this charming little post office in Historic Ewa! There was no line when I went around noon time on a Tuesday to mail out my passport renewal. I was told by an employee that mailing out the application can take up to 3-4 months for passport to come back. He suggest that I apply for renewal with the post office facility and it will come less than a month. He was kind enough to take me without an appointment! And sure enough, my passport came in 3.5 weeks without the rush option. I just paid the standard fee. Everything was so smooth and now I am happy to say this is my regular post office from now on. Mahalo for your great service!”

“The best customer service hands down at any post office. They represent the hawaiian aloha spirit very well. I’ve been to this location many times at the last minute and they always come around to help me to their best ability. I am very grateful for their service and for helping me get packages over to the other side of the country to my family in Virginia.”

“I live in the neighborhood serviced by this post office and drive by 5 days a week. There's almost always a queue of cars 6 deep waiting to enter the small lot. There are only 11 stalls in front, 12 if you count the handicapped stall. Do few customers know about the large public parking across Pensacola Street, or are they afraid there won't be enough open stalls? That said, the post office staff provide fast service. Two counters open, and there is a hallway of P.O. boxes in the back. One ⭐️ deducted for the inconvenient location-- Lunalilo is a one way street going Ewa, and Pensacola is also one way going towards Ala Moana.”

“Ms. Lisa is amazing! We’ve been here since August of last year and the few times we’ve stopped in the post office it has always been Ms. Lisa. She’s very helpful and efficient and ensures that when mailing a box that we’re using the right one with correct postage. One time I accidentally used a priority mail box that wasn’t labeled flat rate and she caught it and I didn’t realize how much cost difference was to send between the two. Ms. Lisa made sure I got the right box as I had already prepaid and hit me with some knowledge that I use going forward. I really hope that while we’re here that Ms. Lisa is permanent as she has such a positive energy and friendly vibe there. She definitely has the Aloha spirit ?”

“I love reviewing post offices, and this is honestly my absolute favorite post office anywhere, which makes me wonder why I haven't reviewed this location before now. What you need to know is that the hours are limited. This USPS is in a trailer on what was the Dole agricultural employee store/ administrative area on Kania road. The store has now become a rum distillery and the office spaces now house a farmer's market every Friday afternoon. The post office remains, but has never needed to expand availability, as it still serves a very small community. That said, if you can make the time work for you you will discover that there is rarely a line. Even better (in my opinion!) on the rare occasion that you are in a line, that line includes a wonderful location, fresh air, and a good chance of being able to talk story with a few interesting people. This is no humdrum location. It is as country as one can get along a busy road and the customers who find their way here are living on a slower timeline than those who seek out a city location. Take a few deep breaths and enjoy the pace.”

“A great post office location. Convenient with lots of easy parking. Helpful staff, good supplies, and decent post office boxes. Baffling that they were going to shut this location down.”

“USPS SELF SERVICE KIOSK. This kiosk is located within the Kapahulu Safeway next to Guest Services. Enter from the Makai entrance and it will be on your right. Unfortunately, there's only one kiosk. Good news is that it was in working order when I visited. It's fairly simple to use for flat rate boxes. Take note that this is card payment only, no cash. Once done, there's two drop boxes to deposit your mail/parcels in. I recommend you get shipping boxes from the actual Post Office because chances of finding them here are slim. Especially in the holiday season! And bring your own tape if you must seal your boxes here. However, it would be wise and greatly appreciated to have your packages ready before arriving. That'll save you time as well as everyone else. And please give the person using the kiosk space! It's nerve wrecking having someone breathing down my neck when I'm inputting my address...”

“This post office is phenomenal. While it may have received some bad reviews in the past I wanted to update the ratings here. The accessibility of having this on base is not only great but I use it constantly and not only have great experiences every single time but also get advice on the best way to package whatever I'm shipping. Constantly I see people coming in to just say hello to the staff when they don't even have anything to ship out. Sure you have to park and get into the hospital to use it but that's a small hurdle to have the ability to use it's services. And again, the staff is AMAZING!”

“Mailing an Easter gift to the mainland from Honolulu, Hawaii...I found an appropriate gift for my God daughter in Virginia and needed to mail it. Several post offices in the downtown area were closed on a Saturday and some don't have free parking.I remembered the Kahala location of the US Postal Service and drove there. There were several empty stalls and a short line of customers inside. I tried the self-service kiosk, but my package was an unusual shape. I stood in line for a few minutes and in no time, I was done! I think my gift will arrive in time for Easter!Thank goodness for the Kahala Post Office and its efficient, competent staff! I appreciate the air conditioning, free Flat Rate Boxes, and clean environment! I'll be back!”

“The clerks at the desk are REALLY nice. Like, I couldn't imagine being that nice if I had to deal with stupid customers 8 hours a day. I would get so sick of them. They are really, really overly nice for the amount of B.S. they have to put up with. Compared to the Post Office where I moved from (Queens, NY) they are super nice.”

They are really living aloha here!!”

“I visit this USPS location frequently because it is close to work. They have metered parking stalls in a small lot on King Street side of the building and the entrance is located on the Richard Street side. This location can be very busy because they are in the downtown area ans very convenient for those that work in the surrounding businesses. There is a kiosk outside on the same side of the entrance along with a parcel only drop box. They do have letter drop boxes on both the King Street and Richard Street sides and they are both drive up. There are a few on the Richard Street side where you can drop off from the sidewalk as well. They also have their drop off only counter inside to the right when you enter. The employees here are nice and helpful. Sometimes when it gets very busy, they have an employee at the door assisting customers and help to make some procedures go faster. If you plan to drop off mail around 9am, it gets busy with all the mail trucks waiting to get their delivery for the day. Sometimes, you can get lucky and there is no line. That's usually when right they open and after the lunch rush, but it can get busy as well...”

“The line was fast and efficient and the employees were friendly. The employee to help me out actually suggested ways that I could save money on sending my package and helped me get everything together. I wasn't in there for long, but it was great. Definitely recommend this USPS office”

“The folks working at and running the mail for Wahiawa USPS are legends and service heroes. Aunty that does our regular route always goes above and beyond to bring our mail down our long driveway and leave packages securely in our carport. Yesterday was a Sunday and we had TWO USPS deliveries because another mailman from another route noticed our mail in his hamper and took the time to get off his route to deliver to us! Aunty at the counter giving stickers to all the toddlers is also magic. USPS is one of the most efficient, affordable and responsible services going and we really mahalo you guys!”

“Please print off labels and package stuff up before getting there!!! It's cheaper and takes less time. I sell though eBay and Depop so I'm at the post offices alot. These are some of the shortest lines of any post office I've ever been to and they are always super friendly. The only time there is a line here is when you have people who didn't pack up their packages before hand.Tip: They have a bin to drop off packages that are prepaid and it's even available after they are closed.”
