“We like to come here for the poke. The garlic ahi poke is one of my faves. I also like to come here for their sales, sometimes they have meat and other items at a good sale price.”

“If you want “real Hawaiian” food, we were directed to this place . A roadside side stand that you might miss if you weren’t looking for it. But the line of customers showed how popular the place is. You eat on picnic table beside the road with chickens running around.
Service was fast and friendly.
We tried the beef luau. We were concerned when we saw it, not appealing to look at but very good, as was the Kalua Pig (basically pulled pork). The ice cream was excellent. We might stop there just for that next time we drive up to the north shore.”

“Unexpected snack shop gem!
They have great deals and exclusive snacks. They also have Japanese snack imports.
Its quite a small space but a large variety of snacks and drinks, but I believe you can buy large bulk snack items.
They also have protein snacks.

Staff is friendly and the place is very clean.”

“Tamara's is a local small supermarket that does cater to the areas population of customers. You will find more culturally diverse ingredient options here rather than the other big brand supermarkets in the area. Their Poke, seafood and in house plate lunch plates are terrific. The store itself is rather old and run down. The staff is friendly and helpful. No fresh bakery type of foods available but there are other stores/bakeries in the area if that is the products you are shopping for. Adequate parking available and fairly easy access to the town itself and main thoroughfares.”

“It's a smaller store but they keep a pretty good inventory there. Being from the mainland I'm appalled at some of the prices that they get over here in Hawaii. It is what it is. Everything is expensive to get over here. The staff appeared to be friendly. They had a good beer selection compared to my local Safeway.”

“In a very remote area of the island it is crucial for being able to get ur poke wit da kine flavors from foodland's extensive array. Stay kanaking bra! So ono cuz! If u just thought that it's possible u have been on the rock for too long, nah nah just right. I apologize In advance for this review. But one additional thing they have extra shave ice syrup flavors the other locations don't carry. Sold as far as I'm concerned. Awright! After trying da kine grindz here it's possible that u will develop the self diagnosed medical condition of broke da mout'! This can accompany kanak attack but not always. If u find urself napping u may have suffered from said kanak attack. Immediate medical attention is optional. Aloha!”

“Went for 1 item, wasn't sure if they would carry the product. The angels were with me because despite crazy drivers, ridiculous rain and absurd winds, I was able to purchase this item without a problem. Oh, and for the first time I paid contactless ..... super weird but oddly satisfying.”

“Relatively cheaper gas, not bad at all. Just don't rely on the posted pics when trying to see gas prices. I'm sure they're out of date! No complaints here though!”

“Local mom-n-pop store offers convenient shopping for cigs, toiletries, snacks and drinks for surrounding apartment complexes. Moderate prices, friendly service, good selection.”

“Foodland Wahiawa is all about the people. And by people, I mean the loyal staff that has worked there for years. Foodland has gotten more costly over the years but continues to offer a small verity of fresh local produce which I appreciate.

The savory pastries such as the ham and cheese danish is delicious and a favorite for a busy morning but please please have some one adjust the proofing process! It has been so sad and flat so I have not been buying it.

Thank you for having an amazing staff! Employees like Nick, Donna, Michael, Christy, Heidi and countless others are why I keep choosing foodland Wahiawa. They remember my kids and have genuine aloha for their customers.

The 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the cost and need for attention to the bakery/consistency of our favorites. Staff gets 5 stars.”

If u push clear or snow.. they get all kine size baggies and good quality lighters to smoke da stuff! U never hear dat from me!”

“Foodland? More like Foodstore. Because it's a store of food. A sack of green grapes costs as much as an overnight stay in the Taj Mahal, but that's how it goes when you shop on a volcano.”

“Can usually find anything I'm looking for. If the commissary doesn't have an item, they will order it. Self check out has improved with more registers, Self checkout moves pretty fast. I'm happy for the separate lines for 25 items or less and unlimited.”

“First thing - I don't know much about Poke. But the Poke here was wonderful. They had a few other food options and it was all great and delicious! The crew there takes pride in their food and Poke. I would recommend it if you are in the area. However, it is really just a superette, so there are no other facilities there- just the poke and superette. It's good though!”
