We have 6 doggy kids as our furry little children, we love them so much, they are everything to us, our whole ? world.
We took two of our little Five months old sister Brandy and Daisy to get fixed. We did not want to, however we knew we had too.
Good Karma made us feel so comfortable and safe leaving our sweet babies. The lady who took our doggy kids inside, let our sisters be together in the same holding area, to help them feel more comfortable.
Good Karma is very clean, convienant very fairly priced. Good Karma takes very good care of your doggy kids.
So I highly recommend Good Karma, to everyone here on our beautiful island. Daisy and Brandy are doing great, they were tender for a couple of days. Four days after their surgery, they were back to their normal playful loving self .
Daisy and Brandy say thank you Good Karma for taking such good care of us.
We are so excited, yesterday our doggy kids notified us the whales are back . We have a pearch that our 6 Chiweenies jump in to look at the ocean, mongooses, dolphins jumping and then for four months, their whales.
So whale sighting between mile marker 16 and 18 Hamakua coast.
Also, we have a doggy YouTube channel of our furry kids called Chiweenie 6.
Thank you Good Karma for taking such good care of our girls, Daisy and Brandy.

111 E Puainako St Suite A-109, HiloWe brought our senior little dog in on an emergency , she had a broken hind leg . Dr. Mina was the ONLY vet that took her in to check her out , NOT even her usual vet would take her @ HPP she stayed with her leg hanging for a couple of days ! While we called every vet to see if they could help her . He was able to save her leg and because my elderly parents could not handle taking care of her and keeping her stable at home Maka'i Vet kept her in their care for a month - till her leg was mostly healed and cast came off . Their staff was wonderful & even tho' over worked into long after hours they were still friendly ! We really appreciated them all! We need more vet Dr's like Dr. Mina on the Big Island . !

I'm so glad I took my bun here for treatment with his tooth problem. He had been struggling for weeks, but this vet managed to save him and he's now eating again and back to himself. I had pretty much given up hope because he was so sick and thin, but now I'm beyond happy to have my friend back, thanks to Dr Mina. I'd recommend anyone with rabbits to come here for great quality care!

They were able to see our beloved dog on an emergency basis, and I can’t express how relieved I was — her leg had suddenly become very swollen, and she was even dragging it behind her. You can imagine how beside myself with worry I felt.
After having experiences with other clinics in the past, finding this one has been a true blessing. Dr. Lei is AMAZING, and the entire staff is so kind and compassionate. Chase and Lily were wonderful — genuinely caring, attentive, and supportive throughout the visit.
We are deeply thankful to have a place where we feel comfortable, reassured, and confident bringing our four-legged family members. Having found them is one of the biggest blessings I could ever have imagined. I highly recommend Island Veterinary Center.

Hilo Ice Coffee
213 Kalanianaole St, HiloHilo iced coffee was one of our favorites places to grab coffee when in Hilo. We drove all the way from pepeekeo every day so we could have all those amazing options. My hubby and I each got a coffee and a matcha to share. We made sure we tried something different every time, usually staff recommended, just to see what were a “go” or a “no.” Honestly, every thing we ordered exceeded our expectations. “Honey girl” was a clear winner for us, the mix of Mac nut milk and honey, chef’s kiss- 10/10. And if you’re not feeling something too sweet, their namesake “Hilo iced coffee” hit the spot- 9/10. We also tried their black sesame coffee and matcha, both were 10/10. We had the chance to also try the strawberry matcha and while I can see the hype for strawberry matches are real, the strawberry Puree was a wee too sweet for us, still very good- 8/10. We will be sure to stop by every time we go Hilo!

It's a small place with only a few tables. We sat at one of the small tables, but most people were ordering food to go. Service was friendly and relatively fast, and parking was easy & convenient.

Just a normal & not so normal lad, who accidentally stumbled upon this cool joint in the humidity of the afternoon. With a friend! We got to meet the owner, and her trusty kava ridden sidekick. They were quite lovely in every sense of the way. Consequently, we stayed a lot longer than we anticipated due to the chat-ments of sorts with owner and said sidekick. Come! I recommend.
