Pet Care

Kaua'i North Shore Animal Clinic
2555 Ala Namahana Pkwy suite 900, KilaueaWOW!!!!!! What a wonderful place this is, how lucky are we to have this on the north shore! Such lovely professionalism and remarkable care, I am so impressed by how knowledgeable and skilled everyone is. This is very special for someone going in for the first time ever and especially if you have little babies to take care of. My two kittens were given the best care possible, I was actually present for one of the sessions to help my kitty feel at ease, and I couldn’t be happier. Stormi and Princess were truly blessed to have come here for their first ever visit.
A huge thank you to the epic staff! I wish them all the success and prosperity in the world. Aloha!

Kauai Juice Co Kilauea
2555 Ala Namahana Pkwy, KilaueaOur friend group loved Kauai Juice Co and we came back so many times for the juices during our time here! Everything is fresh and you can really taste the fresh fruits. All the fruit mixes and the milky drinks are delicious as well. The bottles are reusable and you can bring it back and exchange it for $ off your next drink. The only downside is they are a bit pricey but then again, everything on the island is expensive (rip $8 coffees?) I also recommend getting a shot of sugar cane for $2 if you can! Super refreshing and full of vitamins. This particular location is near some good food spots as well.

Kilauea Fish Market
4270 Kilauea Rd, KilaueaWe were iffy about whether to eat here based on some reviews, but we were hungry, found ourselves in Kilauea, and we were looking for something a little different than poke or BBQ.
The market fish was either ahi or stripped marlin, and while the ahi was more expensive, it looked really good sitting in the case. We had an order of that (seared) with brown rice and mac/potato salad. We also ordered the ono tacos with a side of beans and cheese. The total before tip was about $55.
Our food came relatively quickly (about 10-15 minutes after we ordered). After going back inside to grab our two plates of food, we sat outside at one of the many tables they have set up.
The ahi was cooked perfectly, and it was butter-tender. That on its own was a 5-star piece of fish. The wasabi aioli it came with was a perfect complement. The mac/potato salad lacked seasoning, so that landed a little flat. And, well, brown rice is brown rice.
The fish tacos were fine. They came with flour tortillas instead of corn. The one was good, and the portion side was generous with good fillings on top of the fish. The beans and cheese were not your typical pinto bean, but more along the lines of a chili bean, and a generous bowl of that. Solid, but nothing too exciting.
All in all, we’ve struggled finding good places to eat on the north shore, and this is a solid bet. We would definitely eat here again.

4270 Kilauea Rd J, KilaueaStopped in to pick up some ground coffee and arrived just as they were closing. They were kind enough to let me get a bag quick before closing up for the day. Aloha spirit! Will be back next time we are on the island.

Avalon Gastropub
2555 Ala Namahana Pkwy Suite 800 J1, KilaueaVisiting from Maui!! Went off a recommendation from our concierge. Local spot in a residential neighborhood. If it seems strange that youre driving through housing... youre actually in the right place. One of the bests meals that I have had on island. I'm just gonna cut to it: -We got the Fried Mac n Cheese (the tomato jam is something else wowza) 10/10 -We got the Grilled Cesar Salad. Like what??? Yeah. So good. Even if youre not into salad, just get it. It will change your mind and ruin salad for you after that cause youre obky going to want it grilled. -We got the NY Strip Steak. Ok, we've had really good steak at different places and this one just chefs kiss. Ask your server how the chef would cook it and go with their recommendation. -Drinks --- we had several and honestly youll have a food time trying any of them so just go for it snd then go for some more. Lol. We didnt save room for dessert however, I would go again just to get a drink and dessert to satisfy that FOMO. ENJOY THIS REALLY COOL PLACE.

Kilauea Bakery & Pizzeria
2484 Keneke St, KilaueaA great atmosphere. Loved the outdoor seating.
I can only speak for the cream puff and eclair.
We did arrive in the afternoon but the eclair and cream puff were very dry and not flavorful ?
Service was very friendly though.
