“How many of you folks start worrying when you see your gas tank gauge getting close to the "E" on your dashboard of your car??? I do!!!! :/ It all started back in the late 90's for me, as I was in Las Vegas with an old weightlifting buddy, as we were attending a bodybuilding expo. I remembered it was nighttime and somehow we ended up in a shady part of town on the east side, when suddenly I noticed our rental car was running low on gas. Concerned about the sketchy neighborhood we were driving in, I was debating on whether I should pull over in the bad neighborhood to get the gas, or that I should "chance 'em", and keep driving until we get to a better part of town to get gas. What to do, what to do??? The bottom line is..... when ya need it, ya need it!!!! Better to get da gas, bumbai you're gonna end up having to push your car! So today, while I was working in Kahuku, as I made my way back into town, I realized that my company vehicle was running on fumes! YIKES!!! All of a sudden I started to get flashbacks about running out of gas, when luckily I found this 76 gas station that was attached to a 7-Eleven convenience store in Kaaawa. Yes, this 76 gas only has (2) pumps and four dispensing stations, but if ya need gas, this is a great place to make a pit stop! Get some gas, and if you're hungry or thirsty......7-Eleven is there to meet all of your snackin' needs.”
“If you want “real Hawaiian” food, we were directed to this place . A roadside side stand that you might miss if you weren’t looking for it. But the line of customers showed how popular the place is. You eat on picnic table beside the road with chickens running around.
Service was fast and friendly.
We tried the beef luau. We were concerned when we saw it, not appealing to look at but very good, as was the Kalua Pig (basically pulled pork). The ice cream was excellent. We might stop there just for that next time we drive up to the north shore.”
“I asked one of the workers about fishing tips as I was ready to pay for my stuff and after getting more knowledgeable experience, i decided the tackle I choose to get didn’t suit fit for the type of fishing I wanted to do, so I ended up re-choosing some things and they helped verify a better fit of tackle. Mahalo Nankos!”
““The Convenient Store” from Next Goal Wins. I only wish they sold the tee shirt! What’s best is that this truly is a convenient store in a fantastic location. Do you need it? They probably have it. If they don’t have it? You probably don’t need it! Don’t miss the butter mochi at the register.”
“Went for 1 item, wasn't sure if they would carry the product. The angels were with me because despite crazy drivers, ridiculous rain and absurd winds, I was able to purchase this item without a problem. Oh, and for the first time I paid contactless ..... super weird but oddly satisfying.”
“The Aloha Gas stations can be found on basically every corner in Kaneohe. Each one I have been to, the workers were incredibly kind and the hot dog manapua is the best. I love this one specifically, the workers know my family and I by name and treat us with an Aloha that can only be found in Hawaii.”
“Calling Texas home, the 7-Eleven was a welcomed sight for sore eyes. All I needed was a lighter. The employee on duty quickly accommodated, and I was on my way in well under a minute's time. Thank you for such great service in getting me in and out in no time at all.”
“Three decades ago, when I was in college, this particular 7-11 store was our favorite spot for late-night snacks and caffeine boosts during endless study sessions. Even after moving to the mainland, I make it a point to visit this store every time I'm back in the area. Its unbeatable location, just under 50 yards from the ocean and conveniently situated off Kamehameha Highway, makes it a must-visit. The store's exterior might show a bit of wear from its proximity to the sea, but the interior has been modernized and is impressively clean. In the past, our choices were limited to nachos, but now the store offers an expanded selection including bento's, musubi, and other options at affordable prices. The staff has consistently been helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!”
“An establishment this large that refuses their patrons access to their restroom is inhospitable and undeserving of 5 stars. You can afford too provide this basic human service.”

“First thing - I don't know much about Poke. But the Poke here was wonderful. They had a few other food options and it was all great and delicious! The crew there takes pride in their food and Poke. I would recommend it if you are in the area. However, it is really just a superette, so there are no other facilities there- just the poke and superette. It's good though!”
“The personnel is always courteous. I am not the kind of person who enjoys going out shopping. However, I love to visit Longs Drugs; besides the pharmacy, they have a wide variety of items for everyone and the store atmosphere is generally peaceful.”
“Had to pick up a prescription. The staff at the pharmacy were among the most pleasant and helpful. My prescription was at another Longs on another island! They quickly had it transferred and filled it within 20 minutes. Amazing customer service! Well done team.”

“Nice friendly place to stop by and refuel both your vehicle and you. Pretty good selection of the more common auto supplies although when I visited, they were all pau out of 5W-30 SAE engine oil. Because of location, this is one of the busiest 76 stations I've experienced on the Windward side. The line was long but it moved incredibly fast especially with two cashiers doing a great job amidst the continued flow of customers. Location makes it nice as you can fuel up, and shop at Safeway, Longs, etc, all within a couple hundred meters of each other. This station is also nice as it has good clean windshield fluid, squeegees, and towels to wipe off your windows while you fuel. Many stations don't even bother to change out the fluids in the fuel pump mounted basins, so you end up putting dirty fluid on your car windows.... Check back often for specials.”
“I wish I remembered my cashiers name! But I totally spaced on checking her name tag. Anyway, hopefully management reads these reviews like they do in our company. I wanted to share my experience because I think this employee deserves to be recognized for the excellent customer service she provided to me. I came in Tuesday October 15th around 5 and I did a couple of coupon deals. Her computer was acting up and frankly frustrating both of us but she took a step back and apologized to me (she had every right to be frustrated with her computer) because she didn't want me to feel as if she was being snippy with me. I think that type of self awareness is invaluable in customer service. As is making a lasting impression on your customers. And she really was so incredibly sweet throughout the duration of my transactions. She made me feel so special even though I'm probably one of like a hundred people she sees throughout the day. I needed a pick me up that day and she did exactly that for me. If you're one of her coworkers and you remember this interaction make sure she gets the kudos she deserves! and if my cashier see this thank you for making my day ? if I see you again I'm making sure I get a peek at your name tag!”
“Came in to get a prescription filled and it was done in 15 minutes. I was flabbergasted because usually this takes at least a day on the mainland and the worker was so nice and efficient. I'm glad I came to this Walgreens and I'll come back again if I ever need anything”
“Open 24 hours a day. It’s the only convenience store in Kaaawa. Beside the Post Office and across from Swanzy Beach. Friendly staff. The store is clean. Good variety of grab & go meals. The prices are not outrageous after we saw the prices in the grocery stores. Also gas is available there.”
