“This my second time coming here and then again nothing but awesome service. I referred my Daughter and she was Blessed as well. She brought her friend and she was also blessed. Telling you if you need a car, these guys will do what ever in their power to make sure you get the right assistance and very determine to make sure you leave with something. They are very patient and their understanding is beyond me. They listen and is very empathetic. I left bk in 2020 with a 2017 Mazda CX5 with about 24,000 miles, car is beautiful , loved it and still do. It’s done right by me ever since as well Windward City has. Any question even if it seems to be a dumb question, no worries they got you. Today I left with 2025 Hundai Santa Cruz with only 5,000 miles on it!!!! Practically still New. They will work with you, and yes in my case I got lucky with only $7.00 down TYJ!!!! I would love to give an outstanding gratitude. Appreciation, Love and a Huge MAHALOZ TO ALL OF THEM THERE!!!! I can't say enough good things about Kaneohe Auto Care. I've been to many mechanics over the years, but none have impressed me with their honesty and expertise as much as the team here, led by owner Ricky.
My air conditioning system was on the fritz, and I was bracing myself for a full system replacement. Another shop had already quoted me a ridiculous price for a complete overhaul. However, the staff at Kaneohe Auto Care took the time to diagnose the problem properly. They discovered that only a single, inexpensive part was broken. They fixed it quickly and saved me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.
The real testament to their integrity came with a much more serious issue. Another mechanic told me I needed a new engine, a terrifying and costly prospect. When I brought my car to Ricky's shop, they again performed a thorough and honest inspection. They identified the actual problem—a few specific components that could be replaced, saving the engine entirely. They fixed my car and saved me from a massive, unnecessary expense.
The staff is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly. They clearly communicated what needed to be done, set realistic expectations, and kept me informed every step of the way. “Wil has been my go to guy for almost a year a now, and has been working on all the things I want done to my 2002 M3. He's always been responsive and honest with how long things will take and always saves the old parts to show what was replaced. Yes, it's not your normal type of shop, but there hasn't been anything to big or small for him and a BMW certified shop wanted to charge 1,100 to change some bushings, Wil for example did it for $400.”
“Had a lot of Nissans from this location - maybe going back 30 years - 2 of our 3 cars are Nissans at the moment, had nearly every mid-priced model - a Z, the coupe, Murano, maxima, van, 2 rogues, and quite a few trucks. All new when purchased and all with very little mechanical problems. Last service visit folks were very helpful. Easy location.”
“I went in last night to check out a Tacoma and had no expectations of getting it, I was approached by Adam, and the whole time felt very comfortable and not forced to do anything. He did a good job on explaining everything and being very transparent and I could tell just wanted to help me out any way possible. “Needed a used car pretty urgently. Was in contact with Nashua, one of the managers, and he gave me great advice about a couple other cars I was looking at. Knowing all my preferences I gave him, he sent me a couple cars they recently got in their inventory. The one that caught my eye was the Subaru Forester.
I set up a day/time to go check it out. Nashua had the car ready to check out and paired me up to work with Wally. Wally was great! Immediately felt like we were friends for years. Wally was very knowledgeable and made the buying process as smooth as can be. I always have a little anxiety when going to dealerships but Wally made everything super comfortable and stress free and really felt like a friend helping a friend! If you’re in the market for a vehicle go see Wally at King Windward! Very happy with my Subaru Forester!”

“Needed a safety check after shipping my car back home. I had stopped by a different shop, before coming here, and there were plenty people in line with nobody checking them in for several minutes. When I got to Jiffy Lube, they were so kind and the service was very fast! The mechanic even took the time to help with little quick fixes that needed to be done, like screwing on my front license plate.

“I drive an old 1998 Nissan truck and live on the Windward where the air is very salty and causes a lot of rust. The rust grew under the front windshield and touched the edge of the glass which caused a long crack. I made arrangements with Ace to come to my home and remove the glass so I could repair the rust. Then Ace came out a week later and installed the new windshield. Richard is very fast when removing and installing the windshield.Very happy with the service and staff. This was the 5th time I used this company and will continue using them.”

“I was referred to Windward Autohaus by a friend. My faithful Toyota truck needed a new starter. Edi told me to drop it off the next day at noon. In about four hours Edi called and said my truck was ready for pick up. The repair cost was considerably less than I was expecting based on research I had done on the Internet. Edi was a perfect gentleman. I feel blessed knowing there is a skillful and honest mechanic here in Kaneohe where I live. I give Windward Autohaus an enthusiastic two thumbs up!”
“Excellent job of replacing and painting the scrapped bottom side panel of my Toyota Prius Prime. The free quote was reasonable. Their text message updates and their online tracking system allowed me to track the repair progress! Mahalo to Travis for handling the estimate and Kehau for handling the paperwork and keeping me posted. Mahalo to the technicians that did the work! The work was completed in 2 days earlier than the estimated 3 days.”

“Another shop painted the half front of my car a flat silver after a bumper replacement, blending it into fenders/hood/doors. Gerber Collision took it back in to do the job proper and returned it to very close to factory condition. I can’t see any tells that this car was in an accident anymore, when before it was very obvious. First photo is before.”

“A long time ago, there was a car wash at the Shell Station in Kahala. Nothing fancy. Just drive up, pay. Put car in neutral, hands off steering wheel, no braking, close windows and relax. The car got a nice wash and towel dried once it got through the wash. Cars came out looking great. The workers were trained well and were very professional. They took great care of the car and the customer. Repeat business was great. Windward Auto Spa has the same DNA. I go there each time my car is serviced at Honda Windward and I am always happy with how well me and my car are treated. You can get additional services but for me is that simple car wash that’s done well that is no ka oi.”
