“Located in Windward Mall, this Ross is plentiful! Do all your major home goods, kitchen needs, wall decor, skincare, baby needs, and of course clothing purchases!
This place is clean, well-staffed and well-stocked, and conveniently connects directly to Kane'ohe's favorite mall. Perfect place to shop and hang out at.
Lots of clearance clearly marked along the store's perimeter. All the shopping carts work too, which is a standard haha.”
“Great experience at this furniture shop. The store offers a nice mix of modern and classic designs, and the quality feels solid. Staff members were friendly and answered all my questions without rushing me. I found a beautiful bookshelf at a fair price. Checkout was quick and delivery arrived exactly when promised. Everything was well packed and in perfect shape.”
“We left Ashley furniture, so happy and joyful to have met Wil Kostron. He knew exactly how to help us find our sofa. He hung back while we looked, but was right there when we needed him. Wil iwas personable and knowledgeable about the items that we were interested in. What an amazing experience! Thanks Wil!”

“Great experience, shout out to sales associate Lani S.!! She was so informative, thorough, and warm. She was so knowledgeable and never once made me feel pressured / uncomfortable. She even ensured me that even if the store has any future promotions, she would apply it to the bed we had already placed a deposit on. Great experience, go to SlumberWorld!”
“CocoNene at Kahala Mall is a gem for anyone looking to bring a piece of Hawaii home or send aloha to loved ones. Their signature Longboard Letters are a standout feature, allowing you to craft a personalized wooden surfboard with letters, icons, and characters that make each piece truly unique. It's such a creative and fun way to express yourself or create a meaningful gift!
The store itself is beautifully arranged, making it easy to explore the variety of sizes and designs for the surfboards, as well as other tropical-inspired artwork and decor. Whether you're shopping for yourself or finding a gift for someone special, CocoNene is a must-visit spot that showcases the spirit of Hawaii!”

“Had a great time and love trying to support local businesses. However I am not very artsy and took my time making something I was proud of. The employee came over and said let me give you some advice and removed all my work and made one of her own on my board and by the time she was done all my pieces were removed and replaced with her own stuff. Lost the magic a bit and ended up leaving without purchasing. I think instead of altering someone’s work, maybe employees can grab another board to make another to compare and show their suggestions without undoing what the customer is making.”

“Check out their website for their next fair! They had one at the Ala Moana shopping center parking lot. Tons of beautiful actually hand made in Hawaii things! Jewelry, sustainable recycled goods, planter covers, beach clothing, resin Art home goods, pet related, tea blends…The vendors and aloha home market people were really friendly and down to earth, and not at all pushy.”

“A hidden gem.
I’m actually glad I found out about this store through social media. This store has a variety of Japanese stationary goods, houseware (mugs), functional items (bags to wallets), and much more.
It definitely is worth checking out if this is up your alley.”
“Hidden gem in Honolulu, no high pressure sales. Got to talk story with Bob a bit and he answered a ton of questions about the products available. Wonderful buying experience. Great, high quality hardwood products, hard to find on island for this price.”

“Especially with the many Native Hawaiians, living in diaspora, due to rising costs of housing and living, we have many opportunities to not just support local businesses but to support Native Hawaiian businesses. Homegrown offers a venue for supporting many Native Hawaiian businesses who many not have the start up ability to establish their own shop. Easy one stop shop for lots of different authentic Hawaiian gifts, household needs, clothes, accessories. While all of these separate businesses may have their own website, Homegrown allows you the opportunity to see these items up close and try on clothes before purchase. Since most of these businesses are not just Native Hawaiian but also offer items made in Hawaii, rather than outsourcing, some items may cost more than the average but I find that they're still reasonable.”
“I have not been shopping at The Refinery in a hot minute but after my recent visit I will definitely be popping in more often. I forgot how much I loved all the different products in the shop as well as the Awesome sales associates. It is so fun to rediscover hidden treasures.”

“Pros: great little store! Awesome products that can be personalized, and even shipped all over.
Cons: tight spaces with fragile things, a lot of the prices are almost confusing by time you do the add ons for the ornaments
Overall: great spot, great niche market on the island, worth going to for sure”
“Such a fun store to pick up some local art, or make your own souvenirs. There’s picture frames, stands, and surfboards you can customize with different Hawaiian symbols. I loved the stationary and the brightly colored Christmas ornaments. We made a surfboard with items that reminded us of our trip. It’s the perfect way to remember what we did. Definitely stop in to get a unique gift for yourself or someone else.”
“We have a guest bedroom that has been hardly used. So, we decided to remodel it to a Japanese style room with Tatami mats and found the Sannaka West on the Internet. After a consultation with a well thought out plan, our Japanese room was completed yesterday. They brought a carpenter from Japan specializing in the Japanese carpentry. His skill is simply amazing. The finished product is so precisely assembled and it looks like one of those rooms in expensive Japanese Inns. We also purchased the Japanese style cushions, a coffee table, and 2 sets of Futon from them. Great quality. Yes, they can be expensive but totally worthwhile. We are very happy with the quality of their service and products. I haven't been to their new showroom yet but will visit and buy a few items for our new room. RECOMMENDED.”
“What an adorable quaint place to visit. This little gem is filled with all sorts of finds for all likes. I walked out with a Pāpale ?, a few Japanese Caya and stickers. Well worth the visit.”
“Incredible gem in Kailua. A vast collection of handcarved artifacts from small to giant (and very affordable to the high-end). Jerome, the owner, is amazing and the whole operation is such a labor of love. You all need to add this to your list of must-visit places in Kailua or just Oahu in general.”

“This place is hella cute, has lots of cool local artisan made stuff like candles, jewelry, puzzles, etc. There's a lil clearance section too if you're bargain hunting. Would be great for gifts. I bought a couple stickers, native flora and fauna. They also had free pride stickers, patches, and flags for pride month. Friendly service and clean cute place. Definitely recommend visiting. It's tucked away in the parking lot by the Himalayan restaurant entry.”

“This is a shop run by an artist living in Hawaii that I learned about just before leaving for Hawaii. It's very nice, so I'd like you to stop by and check it out. The staff were also wonderful.”
“Freaking awesome product and excellent customer service!! I ordered a sign on Etsy that fell through. I found Aloha Overstock right after and had a week to pull it together. Morgan came through in a BIG way! He did the layout, walked me through the order and delivered a quality product in days! So amazing! Mahalo nui loa Morgan!!!”

“Love the messages that everyday better says on the shirts. It's very positive ☺️ and you will be surprised how many people come up to you when you are wearing it. They either ask, "How can I get one" or "love that". These are also the most comfortable shirts I have ever bought and everyone that I gifted with a shirt loved it just as much as I do. Mahalo everyday better for the positivity your spreading with your movement.”
“My husband and I have enjoyed visiting this local shop and gallery for many years now & recently found a beautiful unique Pegge Hopper that we purchased and are so happy with! I highly recommend visiting Maggie's shop - it's eclectic and full of beautiful pieces!!”
“Great customer service. I came in for a singing bowl and the owner spent time to teach me how to properly use it. Fun store for crystals, incense, singing bowls, essential oils, and clothes. We will be back. Thank you!!”
“I cannot remember a time when I’ve shopped at Ross’ and met an unhappy employee. I had gone to the Windward mall to find a few things I needed and all but 1 person working there seemed unhappy. I should have tried Ross’ there, but had my mind set on Windward City Shopping Center. So off I went. As soon as I walked through the door at Ross’, (12/16/23) the greeter set the mood with a big smile and a “Hello”. Then there was the woman working in the isle putting things back in the right places. She directed me to where the items I wanted would be found, and even started to walk me there, but I told her I’ll go check it out. Then the cashier. Such a sweet heart. And a “mahalo” from the greeter on the way out. Everyone was so pleasant, welcoming and professional. The Aloha spirit is always alive there. Thank you Ross, for keeping your employees happy. It shows! And this senior Citizen really appreciates it ? ?❣️ ? ?”
