As with any purchase it is not just about the price tag, it is about memorable experience to come; I could not be any happier.I've recently learned of Debs difficult situation and all I can say is I am not a fan of cancel culture, especially when others spin matters out of context and attack any reputable person under misinformation.If you are reading this review and doing your due diligence research, good for you doing it right. I say that because the best restaurants, stores, and places to stay that I have had the opportunity to experience throughout several decades have been smaller family owed and local businesses. Duncan's is one of those places. They are like family. Unfortunately their have been some people who have left with only 1 young man who came back that knows my husband and I as regulars and again have always treated us like family. The new employees are nice and kind and are still adjusting. However, the vibe from Duncan's is working its way through these new employees, and it's nice to see. Duncan's will always be our place to go, and we highly recommend this pet store to everyone we know and meet.

920 W Prairie Ave, Coeur d'Alene1) Appointments: this place is popular so when a friendly receptionist was able to squeeze in our never-before-seen puppy within a week onto a schedule booked out for a month, we were impressed 2) Cleanliness: the open lobby is pristine for a business dominated by animals and lacks an anticipated smell often associated with such institutions 3) Friendliness: being greeted by staff bearing warm smiles helps to decrease both owner and pet anxiety in what can be a nerve wracking situation 4) Vet techs: professional, knowledgeable and thorough these techs are more helpful than any encountered in other similar establishments we've visited in years past 5) Veterinarians: for reasons unclear to me, perhaps great contracts for the doctors, this place has assembled an All-Star cast of compassionate pet care experts, such as Drs Thrasher and Reese, who are as competent in their life careers as they are caring for owners.

1736 W Kathleen Ave, Coeur d'AleneDr. Bailey is the best vet we've ever had. My wife and I had been in the area for almost 20 years before we moved. Dr. Bailey was by far the best vet we've ever had. She cared about our animals and even gave our dachshund a last meal (biscuits and gravy) before putting her to sleep.
When we moved across the country, she gave our dog medication for driving ~3,000 miles without hesitation, and on short notice. When it came to sending our transcripts to multiple vets, everything happened quickly.
I hope we can find someone that truly cares about our animals the way she did. We went through many vets and thousands of dollars. I wish we happened upon her before wasting so much time everywhere else.
Thank you again for everything you've done for all our animals over the years. We really appreciate it.

Emergency Vet Hospital of Coeur d'Alene
1336 W Kathleen Ave, Coeur d'AleneDr. Anders Langworthy, Jenell, and the whole team here saved my 13 year old Yorkie, Bentley.
He had a large surgical instrument stuck inside of him…. A very scary (malpractice) error that was made by a previous vet, at a different clinic.
I was in shock, panicked, horrified….
Jenell was so caring. She skillfully reviewed the risks, but then provided me a sense of calm. She gave me the confidence I needed to let them help. My saving grace ?.
Dr. Anders was intelligent, skilled, responsible, calm…. He made a plan for Bentleys surgical care that aligned with my needs and goals for Bentley.
I was so panicked…. I didn’t care that he wasn’t a “specialist” or working in the most advanced facility in the region. I tried the (apparently) most advanced facility in the region… I initially drove him 2 hours down to WSU-Pullman vet emergency department…. Once we figured out what was wrong with him…. WSU demanded $900 upfront and placed him on a “list” of patients.
I couldn’t believe they wanted to speak about finances before even making a plan to help my dog. I was so upset and they really didn’t do a lot to help! Other than take my money and tell me to get in line.
I then reached out to EVH of CdA….
I needed Bentley cared for immediately.
The entire team took it very seriously…. and did everything they could in their power to save Bentleys life…. They got him into surgery right away. They saved him.
I am forever grateful. Bentley is home now and on the road to recovery. I will hopefully be able to cherish many more memories with my miracle boy. God bless you all. Riley ?

We all ordered some pizzas and a couple of appetizers. The pizzas were the best, beautiful toppings and crust. There own beers were the greatest.
Last but not least the staff were super friendly and got to our orders right away, even tho it appeared quite busy. They know what they're doing here !!

I had grilled cheese and it's the best one I've ever had BEST CHEESE EVER!(3) One person had chicken pesto sandwich and the other 2 slices of very good pizza. Unfortunately a whole pizza ordered separately came to the table not cooked in the middle and falling apart she offered to make another one but we already waited 20 minutes so we couldn't do that.
