My dogs absolutely love it here, which is kind of surprising because they aren’t the most socialized dogs, but they are my babies so I’m very particular where I take them!! I pull into the parking lot and they are SO HAPPY! They walk in with confidence and they walk out with confidence! The staff are incredibly friendly and did exactly what I asked on my long haired pup. When they go back there, they don’t even look back at me! As soon as they took the boys to the back I hear an employee all giddy saying, “SILAS!!” So excited to have my dog back there, and remembered him even though we’d only brought them once before! It warmed my heart that they remembered him and they loved him! Picking them up, they are happy and smell and look good! They clearly take amazing care of my pups because they don’t like just any ol place, but boy do they love going to the yuppy puppy! We will continue to use them in the future and they are so reasonable priced, they deserve big big tips!!

She's did a full grooming service with a shampoo, haircut, nail trim for both of my mom's dogs that have never been professionally groomed before and both of my mom's dogs turned out to be so cute and they smelled so good and even though the grooming salon in Petco was very very busy, I feel like Valerie still took her time and treated my mom's dogs with patience as far as I could see. Thank you Valerie! And Tia one of the other groomers came out and talker to me while I waited & she was really pleasant to talk to. I'll be a return customer for sure.

1028 W Shannon Ave, SpokaneI have an English Springer Spaniel that I needed groomed for a dog show, but she's extremely nervous when being handled by people she doesn't know. I honestly thought getting her professionally groomed would be nearly impossible. When I called to schedule the appointment, I explained how nervous she is and even offered to give her trazodone beforehand. They suggested trying without it first to see how she does. Honestly, I fully expected to get a call 20 minutes after dropping her off asking me to come pick her up because she is difficult to handle. Instead, they took on the challenge with patience and they exceeded every expectation I had.
To give an idea of how anxious she is, at one of her vet appointments she was so scared that she peed on the technician before they had even brought out the vaccines. Because of experiences like that, I never imagined she'd be able to make it through a full grooming appointment.
I chose this groomer because they seemed to have experience working with nervous dogs, and I'm so glad I did. They were able to bathe, clip, and groom her beautifully, and she came home looking fantastic. Best of all, she didn't leave traumatized.
The groomer even sent me a photo during the appointment to ask a question. My girl looked a little worried, but nowhere near as terrified as I expected she would be, which was incredibly reassuring.
They took the time to listen to what I wanted for her groom and carefully considered all the grooming and behavioral notes I provided. I was so impressed by their patience, kindness, and ability to work with such a nervous dog. I would absolutely bring my dog back (they probably don’t want me to though haha) and highly recommend them.

It was so great when she opened ModernAve. The environment is so welcoming, and I just love that Blake doesn’t even look back at me when I drop him off. I have always been extremely grateful that he feels so comfortable there.
Frankie has ALWAYS done an incredible job grooming Blake, so I know exactly how he is going to look each time. I just love that!! Sarah grooms a couple of my friends dogs and she is amazing as well! She has been with Frankie from the beginning and is so sweet & very talented!
Another thing I love is that they decorate their lobby for most holidays and take awesome pictures of the pups in front of a festive background and often times with props as well. Great photos for Christmas cards, etc.

We didn’t feel rushed, and we feel like our pets are being treated as individuals rather than just another appointment on the schedule. Indian Trail Animal Hospital

I have seen three different veterinarians there, and every single one has been absolutely amazing. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly take the time to listen to my concerns as a pet owner.
My German Shepherd has a severe chicken allergy, and when he had an allergic reaction, they were able to get him in and treated right away. I also want to give a special shout-out to the veterinary technicians, especially Levi, who was wonderful to work with and made us feel so well taken care of.
I really appreciate how stress-free and welcoming the office is. Everyone is attentive, caring, and genuinely concerned about the well-being of their patients. I always feel heard and confident that my pets are receiving the best care possible.
It’s clear that everyone at Indian Trail Animal Hospital truly cares about the animals they treat and the people who love them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy veterinary team!

First, I was in pure panic trying to find a vet to look at my mom’s cat which we thought had gotten attacked by a raccoon. I must’ve called 15 places- nobody could get us in same day and I encountered some extremely rude receptionists through out these calls(ridiculous)- my last call was to Wandamere animal hospital. As I told her what was going on they were immediately comforting and said they could get him in! After battling my mom’s cat getting him in the crate, driving him there and walking in, I was greeted with smiles kindness and support! They knew his name and got back to a room within 5 min! They sprayed the room with calming pheromones - the room was immaculate and nothing I’ve ever seen before! Dr came in within 10 min and from the get go was so kind! She took one look at him and said- it’s a burn! Not a raccoon bite! The cat was loving her as soon as she let him out of crate! She assessed him and talked me through the entire process. She gave him a shot, cat didn’t flinch! Loved on him gave me instructions for pain meds and after care- in and out in 40 min. My heart couldn’t be happier with the care and love they all showed for me and my moms cat! I’m hoping to get my animals established with them now. I’ll never go anywhere else! Incredible experience!! Exactly what you need when your so worried for your pets! So many thank yous!!!

It is amazing the progress Emmy has made in just a month and a half thanks to amazing dentists and staff at this facility. I am so grateful to them for taking such good care of Emmy!

Today 7/30/24 Dr Mark made room in his schedule to see my son's ferret within an hour of our phone call requesting if it was possible to get an appointment. ? All staff were friendly as was Dr Mark, and he is just so informative, relaxed, friendly and not pushy towards expensive tests right at the get go. We both immediately felt comfortable w Dr Mark's approach in treating our ferret. My son has a disability so he easily gets upset and has limited financial resources as well. But he really likes Dr Mark and has trust w the "doc". I'm a retired Veterinarian assistant so I understand more about these medical issues than my son, and I was very impressed w Dr Mark! Thank you Hunter Veterinary Clinic! 5 all the way!

Bark Park Doggy Daycare & Grooming
2106 N Monroe St, SpokaneFive stars isn’t nearly enough for Jenny & The Bark Park. I’ve been taking my 110 pound all black German Shepherd there for nearly 3 years and they are the only doggie daycare that I know for absolute certain loves my dog maybe more than me. I know Kilo is taken WELL CARE OF every time I drop him off. Just to get to the bark park is the most exciting trip. I lived 15 minutes from there and the second we hit Monroe street, Kilo starts doing back flips and screeching with pure joy and excitement, once I park, he nearly busts out my window to get to the door. Once he’s at the door, he pounds the door to be let in immediately. There’s a guy there (I can’t remember his name) who sits and pets Kilo for an hour each morning making sure Kilo gets lots of love. When I pick Kilo up, he either refuses to leave or plops on the floor exhausted from his big doggie playdate. All of the dogs are cared for and I’ve never had an issue with Kilo getting into a tussle with any dog. When there’s been doggie dominance beef, Jenny & her team calmly separate them. Now here’s the biggest bummer, I moved to Missouri last summer and when I tell you, NO ONE here takes care of my big boy like Jenny & her team. The places here are too nervous to give him a bath even though he’s a lover. My family drove 26 hours just to let Kilo play with his friends at the Bark Park for a few weeks and get a deshed/nail trim. When we dropped him off today, Jenny and her team were so excited to see him. It’s so nice to have people not look at your dog and immediately get scared. They welcomed him back like he was theirs. No where treats him as well as the Bark Park. Jenny picks her team very specifically and I really appreciate that about the Bark Park. If you’ve made it this far in the review, hear this, the only negative thing about the Bark Park is that she won’t move to Missouri. Thank you a million to Jenny & her team for setting the bar so high.

Brush Up Training

I have specific problems with my dog and she blocked out a 2 hour time frame to focus on him and helped me sort through my training and safety options with him. I want to train him to wear a muzzle, she recommended the Baskerville. I didn't know for sure what size so I bought 2 (elsewhere, she doesn't sell them) and she helped me find the right fit and taught me how to make it a positive experience! The collar training system I purchased (also elsewhere) was a bad choice, however, and I will be returning that!! I had socialized and clicker trained a couple of different dogs with Heather before she got her own place, and absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting to cut to the chase. Pretty or not, she will tell it to you straight!!

Good Behaviors K9 Training
6917 N Cochran St, SpokaneMy dog, Flynn, struggled with appropriately greeting and interacting with other dogs. After a 6 week board and train with Matt, Flynn is a gentleman who is now able to play with other dogs and is able to express his boundaries in a more appropriate way. When I visited Flynn two weeks into the board and train it was clear to me that I had absolutely no reason to worry. Flynn was so comfortable with Matt and was having the time of his life on “vacation”. The entire experience was amazing, Matt kept me in the loop like I was right there with Flynn. At the go home lesson we didn’t miss a beat, Matt explained everything in a way that I could understand and is willing to continue working with Flynn and I on going. Matt has a way with the dogs, he treats them with respect and kindness and it shines through the relationship he creates with the dogs! I cannot thank Matt enough for helping Flynn and I have the best possible relationship!

She was an incredible dog and we loved her dearly. She lived to be 12, and I called Cole on the day she passed to let him know. He was kind, empathetic, and didn’t mind my tears despite me being a grown man. If you just want a dog, look elsewhere; but if you want a family member, come to Cole. Maya was, as Cole said, a “once in a lifetime dog” and I don’t know if we deserved her—but we loved her as if we did deserve her. Loki is now 7 years old, and is also an incredible dog—the best male I have ever owned. I, my wife, and my sons miss Maya terribly. No other dog can replace her. If you are committed to your family and see a dog as a family, come to Cole and he will treat you as family and set you up with the most irreplaceable dog you have ever met. I moved away to Central Texas, and I would drive 2000 miles back to Cole if I was to get another pup.

We ordered the sausage and mushroom pizza. Being a descendent of a family that came from Napoli, it gave me a taste of family!!! Customer service is top notch and we love how they stepped up to help fire victims. Support this local neighborhood spot!

The catering is delicious, bar services included, and they even set up the table centerpieces for you if you choose from their extensive decor selection. Palouse Pooch Playground
7028 S Waneta Rd, SpokanePalouse Pooch Playground has been such a great find! Our dog, Mia, is utterly terrified of so many things (vacuums, mops, brooms, beeps, lots of loud noises...and we have two young boys!) Her extreme anxiety would send her jumping fences every time we needed to clean! Heidi and Scott and their crew have been so gentle with Mia, helping her to find her place in the pack, and now she gets SO excited as soon as we pull up. We had taken her to an indoor doggie daycare, but she never really settled in, even with multiple visits. I think there is huge benefit in the outdoor setting of this playground, with the added benefit of far less noise and barking. We are so happy to have found this place!!
