“Great people, great cheap food, cheap smokes and very clean. Sometimes smells like smoking there's a truckers lounge they cater to everyone. Cheaper smokes and chew than the tribal stores and they sell beer all tax free. Locally owned and operated MA and PA store not corporate owners.”

“Love this store because it’s never that busy. The owner goes out of his way to make sure his customer service is on point. I found a phone out by the gas pump took it into the cashier and they gave me a free soda for being an honest person recommend this place to whoever is on that side of town.”

“I come here often because of the service and cleanliness. One of the managers is magnificent(Thugnificent). She is always helpful and kind. I've seen her busting her arse off in the morning cooking for the deli, or in the afternoons doing extra cleaning duties making sure the place feels clean and safe. All while helping people out if it gets busy at the checkout with a pleasant demeanor. This goes for the rest of her staff aswell, like Lura! I've seen her doing extra cleaning while being super helpful and kind too. ;) Keep up the good work ya'll! Let'sssssss GOOOOOO”

“My grandparents built this store in 1955 and lived next door to it and worked there just the 2 of them, until 1980. It was called Sav-Mor Market, but the locals called it "Wally's".I have fond memories of stocking snd dusting shelves and selling "penny candy". I helped my dad and grandfather build the addition on the back where we operated a butcher shop for a few years.I visited there a couple years ago and the employees were very nice and enjoyed the stories I told them! Wonderful memories.”
“Daniel Tolman is an amazing employee and manager creating a friendly, helpful environment where customers experience top notch service, exceptional quality, clean and orderly stock and inventory. No question that this store on center street next to I-15 is my favorite due to the high level of customer service and care. A few moments with Daniel or any of the employees he inspires and you know things are just a notch above the typical amazing Maverick store! Also, so stoked on their new CEO, yes Crystal Maggelet … genius stores and locations!!”
“About twenty large parking spots for semis or rvs. Nice grass park setting with picnic tables. The store is clean and well stocked. There is only one stall bathrooms for male and female. Opened til midnight.”
“They have a deli with chicken and burritos. They also have pizza and salads and sandwiches. This place is awesome for a convenience store. They have good prices and are always really nice. Way better to stop here at a local store than one of the national chains. Plus prices are better. If you go to the K and B on Jefferson, there is a video rental next door. One of the last video rental stores anywhere.”
“I was there may 28 at 10:30 pm, when a crackhead tried walking out of kj’s trying to steal, the situation was handle very professionally by one of their employees he was tall and had brown longer hair. I’m glad that kj’s knows how to hire top notch people and, we need more people like him in the community of Pocatello.”
“Cheap gas. Pumps that actually work. Best of all, that was the cleanest gas station restroom I've ever seen in my life. My only complaint is every time I have to hold my breath through a public restroom where kids are still learning to get it in the bowl, I'll think of this gas station and how good I had it for those 3 minutes. “Conveniently located right off the freeway. The staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered. The store itself was clean and well kept. The restroom was also nice and clean, which is a big plus. The only downside is that there is only one unisex restroom.”
“This little store has the best staff I’ve ever met. The owners are terrific. I like looking at their Native American things. Beautiful! Great place to stop for snacks and drinks and other things. Grand kids love their penny bag candy. As adults now they still do.”

“Customer service makes the difference. This is a standard C-store with everything you'd expect--and more, because it was super-clean. But this store is not on a big freeway interchange. It's tucked back into a neighborhood, and there was obviously neighborhood traffic (kids on bikes) at the store. So maybe that's why they hire good customer service staff. The lady at the register was very friendly. She was not mechanical in her work, but talking to customers as she (still efficiently) rang stuff up. While I was there a little kid placed a large fountain drink on the counter and then, while grabbing something else, knocked over that drink. Some spilled, but the employee deftly put the drink upright, pulled out a towel, quietly wiped up the spill, and then calmly smiled and said, "Crisis averted!" I was blown away because anybody else would have either reacted in a more startled way or maybe even scolded the kid for playing around and knocking over the drink. Not that lady. She was cool and smiling and "don't cry over spilled soda" forgiving.”
“Recently, I posted a review of this store here, with a concern I had. Not even two days later, I was contacted by the regional manager. When I explained to her what had taken place the problem was resolved post haste. First rate response to customer concerns, and the employee are always nice!”
