“The staff here is so kind and friendly and I love their customer service interactions with other clients. There is a friendly banter that seems fun and personable which I have observed with those who appear to be regulars. (I am new to Star)I recently witnessed a lady working in the front with pretty eyes who was so kind and patient with an elderly woman while she chatted. When I commented on how I appreciated that she did not rush this older lady, but took time to hear her story, she told me, " I have elderly clients come in that only buy one stamp maybe once or twice a week and I think this may be some of the only interactions they get. They just buy a stamp so they can have a brief conversation with someone." This warmed my heart, and I hope it warms yours. With people like this working here it makes me want to come back. Let's all remember this is the post office and not UPS or FedEx. They are not for profit and so they do not create our labels, or tape up our packages for us. Those are expectations for the profitable corporations that charge double. I still marvel that they will carry my letter across the United States for a fraction of a dollar. I know it has doubled since it was 33 cents in 1999. Uhhh, what about the cost of food in the last 5 years?”

“I needed to get my taxes copied in a hurry today. Stopped into FedEx Office to get my task done. I wasn't sure if they were open. It was about 5:30 p.m. when I got there. Online it said they were open till 7. The store looked so dark and the open sign wasn't on. But I walked up to the door to see if maybe they closed early. I was happy to know they were open!
I was instantly greeted by a sweet employee behind the counter. He asked me what he could do for me. I told him I needed copies made. I pointed to the copy machines and told me to take my time. I thought that was really nice of him.
I got my debit card squared away on the machine and purchased 10 dollars worth of copies. I didn't quite know how to work the copier so I asked the nice gentleman for help. He came over, guided me and helped me with my first set of tax papers. He also informed me about the paper clips, staple and other office supplies that were available for me if I needed them.
I worked my way down to the last 2 stacks of taxes, got them paper clipped and into my trusty manilla envelope. It was a lot faster than I imagined, getting my task completed. It was great having everything I needed all in one area. I thanked the nice man for his help and made my way out of the door. I appreciate this employee's kindness and patience. He was great and my work area was perfect!”
