“Went here yesterday for passport services and came away pleasantly surprised. First off, the building itself is pretty cool—nice bonus. The staff were genuinely helpful from the start. They walked us through the documents, helped take the passport photo, and handled everything with a friendly, easygoing attitude.
The whole process was quick and smooth. She clearly explained what happens next and made sure we didn’t have any questions before we left. No confusion, no hassle.
I’ll be honest—I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews, but that wasn’t my experience at all. Everything felt well-run and efficient. Would definitely recommend.”

“After having only lived in Westchester for a couple of years, I can happily state that this Post Office has the most helpful employees. Anytime I have gone in, I find them to be knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I’d like to particularly call out the outstanding work that Stephanie does. Though there have been times when the lack of air-conditioning has left the lobby very hot, Stephanie has always maintained her upbeat positive outlook. This translates into great Customer Service! “We finally had a great experience at a USPS and it was this location! After SEVERAL locations cancelled our passport appointments (Westmont twice and Lemont once) we finally got it done here. The lady that helped us was really nice (something you don’t see these days, USPS is comparable to the DMV’s employees now) and it was such a fast process. Kudos to this location.”
“This USPO location in Schaumburg (behind Capital Grille) is a shining example of how a post office SHOULD work! Compared to the one on Schaumburg Rd. where every employee there is miserable and spreads the same misery to all the customers.
It’s a night and day difference. My recommendation is for you to drive the extra mile and go to this location for service. Yes, there was a little wait but the service is exceptional. I’ll be going there for my postal needs from now on!”

“Cute small and old style mail office conveniently placed in a small downtown area , I went for a couple stamps for postcards, the attention was really good , lola took time to search for some specialty stamps (american revolution ones) i was interested in , overall great service and wasn't busy at all”
“Kenneth is the best. He acknowledges everyone and happy to help. I was going to prioritize mail and he suggested certified to send tax info because as long as it’s postmarked, no penalties. He didn’t have to tell me this option. He saved me some money because he’s kind. This office is always friendly and nice. The other reviews are unfair. This is a small post office, but gets the job done in a friendly way!”

I always have a wonderful experience at this post office, thanks to Tim. He is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful every time I come in. He is always so sweet to my son and makes us feel welcome.
One time I didn’t have tape for my package, and Tim went out of his way to help me find some so I could get everything mailed. It’s little acts of kindness like that that make such a difference.
He is always professional, friendly, and willing to help with any questions. Customer service like his is hard to find these days. Thank you, Tim, for making every visit such a positive experience!”

“Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.”
“This post office can get pretty busy, and there usually is only one person cashiering, and sometimes even doing passports on the side, but this is not the employees’ fault, its whoever does the scheduling, staffing, or hiring.
Anyways, Pat and Michael are always there to help with a smile even though they are usually a one-person team dealing with so much by themselves. Thank you both keep up the good work!”

She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. “I had such a wonderful experience at the USPS today thanks to Donae! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a genuine smile and a friendly attitude, which honestly made such a difference. She helped me with a return, walked me through certifying a piece of mail, and even took the time to schedule my passport appointment.
What really stood out to me was her patience and kindness. At other locations, I’ve sometimes felt rushed or like my questions were an inconvenience, but with Donae, it was the complete opposite. She made everything simple, efficient, and pleasant and I truly left feeling grateful for her help.

All other employees should go to her for training. A lot of other people are giving negative comments and negative ratings, but I think they are the ones with the bad attitudes, because this post office was a wonderful experience. I live in Lombard and the staff there are rude and never friendly or helpful. When asked a question their faces show a look of disgust and then a sign; like I'm bothering them”

“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”
“I was waiting for my package this afternoon. A female customer walked in, and even though there were other customers waiting in line—including me—she went up to a female employee who was assisting another customer. She asked about an “international package,” demanded a label, and even after the employee explained that the machine wasn’t working, she kept asking the same question three times... That female customer really has no regard for public etiquette—doesn’t she see that other people are waiting in line? She’s talking about “professionalism,” but she should practice what she preaches first... Please—she didn’t even stand in line properly and cut in front of others, while a single female employee was handling all the waiting customers by herself. Everyone else saw it too, yet she’s acting like the employee didn’t help her… It seems like she came here just to stir up trouble. She’s talking as if she were the one who was wronged… wow...”
“I use this location very often for an online selling business. Usually if the there is a long line I will just drop my letters off in the parcel box. But if there is no line I love handing my package off and getting to see the workers. They are super kind and friendly. A lot of people say there is never anyone there, but this location has a terrible management team. They usually only have one person working at a time, and if you have to use the bathroom or do something then there will be nobody manning the counter. I still like this location. Only ever had one issue and it was mostly my fault.”
“I recently needed to set up a PO Box and visited this post office. The paperwork seemed a bit confusing at first, but the manager, David, was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly patient, took the time to help me fill everything out correctly, and made sure I got my keys without any stress. Excellent customer service! Thank you so much, David!”
