Clips 'n Wiggles Dog Grooming
4065 Algonquin Rd, AlgonquinThis place is awesome. Super friendly and great with our dogs. We just needed a quick nail trim. I called ahead and asked for a good time to bring them in the same day on a Saturday. The owner gave me an available time that worked for us. One of our dogs is a little skittish with most people. They always do a great job making her comfortable and feeling safe. We were in and out in 15 minutes and it was only $10 per trim. A couple treats , some goodbye loving and we enjoyed the rest of our afternoon. Love this place.

ACC of Fox Valley
230 Stonegate Rd, AlgonquinAnimal Care Clinic is always great with my 2 dogs. I’ve seen several of their doctors and never been disappointed in the quality of care. This time I saw Dr. Paul who helped reassure me that my aging dog is not in pain and that we are doing all we can to help him age with comfort and dignity. We had a compassionate discussion about quality of life and I felt a huge relief knowing my pup is still enjoying his life comfortably. We also talked about how to tell when quality of life is deteriorating and, while not a fun topic, Dr. Paul was both kind and realistic.
Pet care can be expensive but I trust ACC to help me determine what’s healthiest for my pets and that is 100% worth it. Thanks to the entire staff from check in to techs to doctors and everyone behind the scenes!

Clean Eatz
776B S Randall Rd, AlgonquinStopped by for the first time and it wont be my last. Staff were super friendly. I ordered the bunless burger. It comes with grilled mushrooms and tomatoes but I skipped out on those. Staff recommended getting the bison. I loved the bowl! Sweet potato fries were tasty, crunchy lettuce. I have never had bison meat before but it was so tasty and it was topped with mozzarella cheese. On the side was their epic sauce which was a nice touch. I will be back more. I was starving after an exhausting day and this was so filling and honestly put me in a great mood. Can’t wait to try other things in the menu and their take home meals!

Scorched Earth Brewing Company
203 Berg St, AlgonquinGot some greats beers from this brewery in Algonquin. It probably is the best thing about this town, or, it's what people know most about it. Scorched Earth is one of the main hangouts on weekends. A good amount of beers to choose from. There's a pretty big variety on tap. Coming here early in the afternoon, and it was already busy. It's a brewery that's also family friendly. That means it's okay to bring kids, which is getting increasingly common for breweries it seems. A lot of interesting sounding ones on the list. It's about $7 a pint. Pretty okay for locally owned and produced. Best of the ones we had was the Wunderpilz, a German style pilsner that was light. It's got no food in here except $5 tubs of Von Hanson's Pretzels. Has more when food trucks are here. There's usually one on site. Has a pretty hidden location off Algonquin Road on Berg. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. There's food trucks on weekends.

Jiang's Mongolian Grill
1740 S Randall Rd, AlgonquinThis restaurant is great if you can put down large portions of food. You get to load up a bowl with whatever you can fit in it and they will cook it for you. You can also fill it up as many times as you want. There’s plenty of protein and topping options, there’s also soups you can have on the side.

Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano
1524 S Randall Rd, AlgonquinIt was our first time visiting Biaggi's this past weekend and I cannot wait to go back a second time. Aside from the restaurant being very pretty and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was immaculate. For appetizers, we shared the stuffed mushrooms and the apple & fig bruschetta which was so, so delicious ! For dinner I had the raviolis with added chicken- the texture was perfection, as was the sauce and the generous amount of cheese on top. The Pear Blossom martini was delish !!!! I have to give a huge shout-out to our waiter, Zach who provided outstanding service and accommodated us as we had to cut our dining experience short due to a medical emergency (which had nothing to do with the restautant). We will be back very soon and will be requesting Zach. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Antigua Mexican Grill
2160 Lake Cook Rd, AlgonquinHad been eyeing this location for a long time and when we heard they had soft serve margaritas we just had to go! Service was good, although at times felt like we were rushed. Music they had playing was great! We even got to try a free sample of the mojito which was also good. Food was good, large variety. With drinks it ended up being a pricy night out but would definitely come back!
