This Petco also has Vetco, where I’ve brought all three of my cats for routine vaccinations and services. 🩺🐈 Scheduling is easy, reminders are helpful, and getting the results is always convenient. Highly recommend this location! ⭐🐾

4065 Algonquin Rd, AlgonquinThis place is awesome. Super friendly and great with our dogs. We just needed a quick nail trim. I called ahead and asked for a good time to bring them in the same day on a Saturday. The owner gave me an available time that worked for us. One of our dogs is a little skittish with most people. They always do a great job making her comfortable and feeling safe. We were in and out in 15 minutes and it was only $10 per trim. A couple treats , some goodbye loving and we enjoyed the rest of our afternoon. Love this place.

2565 Algonquin Road, AlgonquinThe staff here from the front desk to the assistants to the veterinarians all treat your fuzzy babies with love, care, support, and understanding. I have cats that don’t care much for the carrier and the visit. The doctors that see my cats are like cat whisperers. They manage to get everything done in a way that calms my cat (and me too). So grateful for Dundee Animal Hospital. Don’t look anywhere else.

Scorched Earth Brewing Company
203 Berg St, AlgonquinGot some greats beers from this brewery in Algonquin. It probably is the best thing about this town, or, it's what people know most about it. Scorched Earth is one of the main hangouts on weekends. A good amount of beers to choose from. There's a pretty big variety on tap. Coming here early in the afternoon, and it was already busy. It's a brewery that's also family friendly. That means it's okay to bring kids, which is getting increasingly common for breweries it seems. A lot of interesting sounding ones on the list. It's about $7 a pint. Pretty okay for locally owned and produced. Best of the ones we had was the Wunderpilz, a German style pilsner that was light. It's got no food in here except $5 tubs of Von Hanson's Pretzels. Has more when food trucks are here. There's usually one on site. Has a pretty hidden location off Algonquin Road on Berg. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. There's food trucks on weekends.

Every single meal was correct, including the special instructions one. We've always had excellent food and service but I was a little worried with such a big order. They did not disappoint! Service was good, although at times felt like we were rushed. Music they had playing was great! We even got to try a free sample of the mojito which was also good. Food was good, large variety. With drinks it ended up being a pricy night out but would definitely come back!
