“Montel at the Alsip location saved our day. We had a rental agreement set up 2 weeks prior to our moving day with Budget (they were the closest box truck rental to our home). Budget called us the day before at 12pm to inform us they didn't have any trucks for us to rent until that Wednesday. So much for having a reservation. I remembered my sister needing a rental in a pinch and she went through the Alsip location so I figured it was worth a shot. When I spoke with Montel over the phone and told him our situation, he was on top of it. Less than 24 hour notice and he had our backs. When we got there the next morning, Quentin was the gentleman that checked us out and helped set up our next rental. Both gentlemen were great to work with and really saved our day.”
“Ok, to start with, I did not rent any trucks or vehicles with U-Haul. I brought my car here to have a hitch installed. Clarence was the man who assisted me. Clarence would call me to clear up questions or to attempt to get my vehicle in earlier than my scheduled time. The only problem I had here was tryin to call Clarence back, the U-Haul phone system always forwarded the call to a centralized U-Haul call center....so that was a little frustrating. BUT, Clarence kept me up to date as to the progress of my install and then he installed the unit in the anticipated time - 2 hours. The job was done neatly, on time and he and the staff at the building were all very courteous.Nice job Clarence, thanks.”
