“I do not give out many 5 star reviews, so this is huge coming from me. I give credit where credit is due. - Cool temp inside. They have AC. - Super clean inside. They obviously care about the building, their customers, and themselves. - Super friendly, helpful, and understanding staff. Only negative was a problem with access codes, however, access code problem was eventually fixed. Oh, and their drinking fountain is broken, and you are not allowed in the building after closing ... A+ / But please fix your drinking fountain.”

“After checking in with the front desk. You'll be able to open the locked front door, open the entrance of parking lot, and get the key to your storage lock. You can park inside the facility and in front of the door of storage space entrance. There are also flat carts for you to move in stuff. Really convenient. And the staff are very friendly too.”

“Rudy and his team at MOOvers Chicago did a great job with my move interstate move. It was a full service packing and multi-day move with overnight storage, and they were professional, efficient, and hardworking throughout the entire process. They arrived on time for both the pickup in Chicago and the delivery out of state, communicated well, and took good care of my belongings. Moving overall is very stressful, but Rudy and his team made the process much easier. It was also super easy to work with Stephanie at the office to book and coordinate things. Of all quotes I looked at, they were among the most reasonable and transparent. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers in Chicago or for a long-distance move.”

“I initially got a storage unit when it was “Life Storage”. Since then, they got bought out and switched to the new ownership as “Extra Space”, and I will say the negative star is for the corporate greed that keeps inflating my rent astronomically like clockwork. The other 4 stars are for the wonderful staff I’ve dealt with there like Jimece. She’s a fabulous person and fantastic manager of the facility, despite the corporate greed BS.”

“The Rep Nycole was very helpful. I came in with a unit and by speaking with her I actually needed to upgrade my unit. I’ve had other units at different locations and the service here was by far the best service I have gotten. If you are looking for a storage come to this location and ask for NYCOLE she is the best!”

615 West Pershing Road, Chicago IL 60609
“Nice, friendly staff. Perfect location and storage space sizes. Very dissapointed they honored web rates to get my business for larger storage, but when i was ready to downsize to a smaller storage space they woule not honor web rates which were half the price I'm now paying for a much smaller space. Since I couldn't afford to rent another truck and open a new contract at another one of their locations I'm still stuck with a non-competitive price, which is really frustrating. There was some water leaks over my initial space but luckily I had mostly plastic bins, one box did have water damage to which I had stuffed animals in it.”

“I really like this space. I wasn't sure what to expect or how this process would go, but it has been really nice. I feel like my items are safe and secure here. There was a leak once in here, but my things were not effected. The staff has been incredibly kind and helpful to me. I was in a pickle and the guy Brandon was SO nice and SO helpful. I was about to cry, but his kindness really helped to regulate my little emotional breakdown lol. I would recommendation this facility 100 times. AND the storage lockers are affordable and very clean.”

“Drew made the process of renting a storage facility super quick and easy . The facility is secure, very clean and well laid out. You only have access to the floor you’re renting on via the elevator, which makes it feel even more safe.”
-
6331 N Broadway, Chicago IL 60660
“This review is specifically for Jessica, the manager at this location, and her excellent customer service. I filled out an online inquiry and was contacted by the Storage Post call center. I was assured they could tell me everything I needed to know about the unit and paid a deposit for what I was told was a ‘ground floor’ unit. When I arrived at the facility, I was informed that I’d been assigned a basement unit with no elevator access. Jessica was kind enough to show me alternatives, help me choose the best one for my needs, and make the lease transfer process very easy since I’d been given bad information. I’ve worked with her before and she’s always been very kind helpful. Today was no different!”

“I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews, but after the experience I had with Yovar, I felt it was absolutely deserved. From the moment I spoke with him, Yovar treated me with genuine kindness, patience, and understanding. Life happens, and sometimes customers are dealing with difficult circumstances. Instead of making me feel like just another account or transaction, he listened, showed empathy, and went above and beyond to help me find a solution. That level of compassion is incredibly rare these days. Customer service isn’t just about answering questions—it’s about making people feel heard, respected, and valued. Yovar did exactly that. He remained professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient throughout the entire process, and his willingness to help made what was a very stressful situation so much easier. Safeguard Storage is fortunate to have someone like Yovar representing their company. Employees like him build customer loyalty because they remind people that exceptional service still exists. His professionalism, integrity, and genuine care did not go unnoticed, and I sincerely hope his leadership recognizes the positive impact he has on customers every single day. Thank you again, Yovar, for your outstanding service and for treating me with such compassion and respect. You turned a stressful experience into a positive one, and I am truly grateful.”

“Big shout out to Dee (Hope I'm getting the name right!). She knows her stuff, I told her about how many boxes I had and she did some quick math in her head and helped me figure out which size unit I needed. I am also impressed with how clean and well lit the building is.”
