“It had been the longest of days, experienced 3 seasons of weather over 500 miles in a box truck and trailer… Booked a room through my work travel app and arrived begging for nothing only rest… On the contrary my strife was not complete as there were issues with my check-in. (It happens often to be frank) What bares denoting and celebrating is the care and consideration, professional/innovative service that I received from Fatima to help and support my successful and correct check-in process. I don’t know when I have received such poignant and accurate information from such a bright young person. Just my 2 cents

“Great comfortable and clean experience. I would like to see a little more variety in the breakfast options. I also got woken up every morning around 6:30 by a neighboring guest letting their door slam, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Just be aware if you're very sensitive to noise. I really appreciated how comfortable the bed was and how cold the AC got. I stayed 3 nights and would stay again.”

“Kent was absolutely amazing!! I was unable to book online for unknown reasons, and he helped me to make things super easy and smooth when I arrived. We had a wonderful conversation and he took care of everything for me! The room was clean and comfy and pretty, and the beds were soft and new. I will definitely be returning!”
“Incredibly nice stay! We stayed for 4 nights for a local dog show. Location was very easy, and layout of Suites was very convenient to outside exits. Greatly appreciated the designated dog area complete with bags and garbage holder. Very helpful and considerate. Rooms, hallways exercise room and laundry were extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. Kitchens were equipped with everything needed for our short stay including toaster, microwave, and any other appliance to use if asked. So nice to have a clean laundry on site. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with a faucet and heater, they immediately had someone (Oscar) come up to investigate and he promptly and courteously handled our needs. Because of this experience we will seek out Sonesta stays in the future. Thank you!”

“Got a basic room. Priced like a motel 6 but has premium feel. No bogus pillows, mattresses,etc. The one receptionist on duty was extremely polite. Had some clown in front of me stalling and asking dumb questions, flirting with guests walking through and what not. Not only was she polite to this guy but also apologized for the wait and offered a drink from the cooler:)”

“I stayed here overnight when I had the misfortune of flying United. Everything seemed reasonable to me and the manager was responsive to my questions and had the breakfast ready on time. And I accidentally left in a hurry with my key and they did not charge me. Lastly, my room was clean. I would stay here again.”
“The location is great & the hotel overall is very clean & looks new. The rooms are also very clean & tidy as well.
Cons:
- No microwaves are available in all rooms. They have one microwave PER floor inside of the ice maker room. You have to share with everyone else on that floor & it was FILTHY, sticky & stained.
- The standing showers look nice but I don't understand why they didn't add the other half of the door. If you are in a room with family, by the time everyone showers, those towel mats aren't helpful enough tp clean up the water on the ground.
- The faucet is annoying being how it sits far from the actual sink & makes it hard to wash hands / use without touching against the sink & it makes a mess when the water overflows all over the countertop. They should fix that..
- Our room had 2 large towels, 2 hand towels & 2 washcloths. If you have a party of more than 2, the towels should match that & there should be extra to clean the water that spills from the terrible shower & sink faucet.
We had to catch the housekeeper to ask for more towels & he was very kind to give more, but this should not be the norm considering the flawed design of the bathroom.
- TV's don't have the option to stream & you are limited to whatever cable channels they have available.
My biggest con was how they do not have the usual free continental breakfast like all other Holiday Inn hotels do.
Instead, the hotel has its own resturaunt & they indirectly force you to order & pay for each plate per person--- for about THE SAME foods that they have in continental breakfasts that are usually FREE. They know that when someone wakes up, they will not want to go out and drive to get food, so they give this as an option.
Oh, Also the resturaunt opens for breakfast (7-10am) & dinner (5-8pm) but not for lunch??
The time when someone would actually be willing to eat there is when they close down--- makes no sense to me.
Overall, the cleanliness & oderliness is great & the staff are helpful too--- shout out to housekeeping for giving extra towels & keeping the place clean. But i took 1 star for the cons mentioned above.
The hotel is hilton quality, but the way they manage it & lack core amenities is probably why they don't get alot of customers --- the parking lot is very empty during the day & isn't full at night either. This should have been a huge sign to management to listen to customers & change what needs to be changed. I hope they can take critique & make amendments if they want to thrive down the line.”

“Outstanding Service That Made a Special Day Even Brighter!
I recently planned a surprise for my brother and sister-in-law, who were celebrating their anniversary at Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago - Schaumburg. I coordinated everything remotely with the help of the hotel’s front desk and central support, arranging cake, flowers, balloons, and champagne.
The experience was beyond amazing! The front desk lady was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make it special. I had asked for my message to be printed, but to my surprise, they took the time to write it out beautifully by hand. That small gesture made a big difference and added such a personal, thoughtful touch.
Thanks to the wonderful staff, my brother and sister-in-law had an unforgettable celebration. This is what true customer service looks like — sharing happiness, showing empathy, and going the extra mile to make someone’s day brighter.
Highly recommend this property and team for their warmth and attention to detail. ???”
“My stay at the Four Points Sheraton Chicago Schaumburg exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The whole team was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help me with deliveries I needed to attend an expo. The location was good for attendance at Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center (a short Uber ride away). The local mall and Whole Foods were about a 20 minutes walk. I felt safe walking around after dark.”

I chose this hotel as a result of a united airlines rebooking flight. They gave me 3 options, this was the best rated one.
All of the options from united were away from Chicago downtown, so I must say that this one has good rooms, bathroom and breakfast included.
Me and my wife had to wait 24 hours for another flight so we got to check downtown after 1.5 hours driving.
Big cheers to Tammy the manager. I had an unfortunate event related to the taxi company and Tammy endures me she was going to take action against the problem. She seemed very helpful and understanding.”

“This was a very nice hotel near plenty of dining options. Great atmosphere. They had a happy hour sort of event, great food for a reasonable price. The rooms were nice and big.
I must give special thanks to the Customer Service Team at the counter for doing a great job of going above and beyond to help me resolve a challenge that had it not been resolved, would have created huge challenges for a training event I was facilitating the next day. I truly appreciate all that Dillon and the other Team member (sorry I did not get her name that I can locate right now).
Highly recommend this lodging when in the area.

“Nice hotel with updated rooms, lobby, and bar. I'd give them 5 stars but they charge $15/night for parking while the lot is about 1/2 full. The staff are very kind and there are dozens of restaurants within walking distance.”

“1. Guests Services (THE STAFF) gave professional and decent service.
2. Despite the nasty weather conditions outside during my stay, the hotel itself was fairly clean.
3. Housekeeping provided excellent service
4. Laundry room was clean, plenty of washer and dryers, hardly ever used, but it might have something to do with the FACT the washer/ dryers are VERY expensive.
5. The pricing at this location (EXTENDED STAYS) compared to others in the area is almost between 50/75 dollars cheaper.
6. This particular location is near everything shopping, services and foods.
7. The rooms are in need of updating and repairs.
TWO MINUSES
1. THE PERSON UPSTAIRS FROM ME WAS STOMPING TOO MUCH.
2. THE ALARM KEPT GOING OFF IN THE HOTEL.”

“I recently stayed at the Doubletree in Schaumburg, Illinois, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was convenient, and the hotel itself had a welcoming atmosphere.
However, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't access all the television channels I expected, such as CBS and NBC. This minor issue didn't overshadow the rest of my stay, but it would have been nice to have access to a wider range of channels.
Despite this small setback, I would still highly recommend the Doubletree Schaumburg for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and overall pleasant stay.”

“We have stayed here more than once because of the convenient location and staff. We found the service at the front desk to be excellent (especially Mihir and Vidhya) and check-in and out was easy. Our room was always clean at check-in (thank you to Roxana and her team). The hotel could use some overall fixups and updates, but the small issues we reported were always quickly taken care of. From a safety stance, the local police do patrols, but there is not always someone at the front desk and some guests like to prop outside doors open for their convenience. As always, when away from home be extra alert outside.”

“For the price-point it was a great place to stay. Very quiet so makes getting some shut-eye easy.
Some of the amenities included appear to be a little dated like the TVs, phone and bathroom.
Everything is nice an clean. Shower was well stocked with soap and shampoo/conditioner.
It's a great place if you're looking for a place to sleep and shower while on the move!”
