“It had been the longest of days, experienced 3 seasons of weather over 500 miles in a box truck and trailer… Booked a room through my work travel app and arrived begging for nothing only rest… On the contrary my strife was not complete as there were issues with my check-in. (It happens often to be frank) What bares denoting and celebrating is the care and consideration, professional/innovative service that I received from Fatima to help and support my successful and correct check-in process. I don’t know when I have received such poignant and accurate information from such a bright young person. Just my 2 cents

“Got a basic room. Priced like a motel 6 but has premium feel. No bogus pillows, mattresses,etc. The one receptionist on duty was extremely polite. Had some clown in front of me stalling and asking dumb questions, flirting with guests walking through and what not. Not only was she polite to this guy but also apologized for the wait and offered a drink from the cooler:)”

“Went to St. Charles to watch a Chicago Steele hockey game... and was VERY happy we stayed the night at the Baker. Very lovely hotel with a ton of history. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk was SUPER nice and accommodating, and the price for the room was very reasonable.(The gym room was closed for some reason, which made me sad... but took a long walk by the river, so that was good).Highly recommend staying at the Baker... and located right in the heart of everything, and surrounded by good restaurants.”
“I stayed here overnight when I had the misfortune of flying United. Everything seemed reasonable to me and the manager was responsive to my questions and had the breakfast ready on time. And I accidentally left in a hurry with my key and they did not charge me. Lastly, my room was clean. I would stay here again.”

“Outstanding Service That Made a Special Day Even Brighter!
I recently planned a surprise for my brother and sister-in-law, who were celebrating their anniversary at Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago - Schaumburg. I coordinated everything remotely with the help of the hotel’s front desk and central support, arranging cake, flowers, balloons, and champagne.
The experience was beyond amazing! The front desk lady was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make it special. I had asked for my message to be printed, but to my surprise, they took the time to write it out beautifully by hand. That small gesture made a big difference and added such a personal, thoughtful touch.
Thanks to the wonderful staff, my brother and sister-in-law had an unforgettable celebration. This is what true customer service looks like — sharing happiness, showing empathy, and going the extra mile to make someone’s day brighter.

I chose this hotel as a result of a united airlines rebooking flight. They gave me 3 options, this was the best rated one.
All of the options from united were away from Chicago downtown, so I must say that this one has good rooms, bathroom and breakfast included.
Me and my wife had to wait 24 hours for another flight so we got to check downtown after 1.5 hours driving.
Big cheers to Tammy the manager. I had an unfortunate event related to the taxi company and Tammy endures me she was going to take action against the problem. She seemed very helpful and understanding.”

“This was a very nice hotel near plenty of dining options. Great atmosphere. They had a happy hour sort of event, great food for a reasonable price. The rooms were nice and big.
I must give special thanks to the Customer Service Team at the counter for doing a great job of going above and beyond to help me resolve a challenge that had it not been resolved, would have created huge challenges for a training event I was facilitating the next day. I truly appreciate all that Dillon and the other Team member (sorry I did not get her name that I can locate right now).
Highly recommend this lodging when in the area.

“Awesome place when you need stay a few days in Chicago.It’s a little bit far from downtown, but nothing important.Rooms are so comfortable, nice view, nice bed and big bathroom.Staff are really nice, they was so available to help us in all the we need.This hotel has Landry, 2 dollars for wash and 2 dollars for dry. You need a quarter coins.They have a really good price because of the area.Totally recommended.Nearby activities: Have many stores nearSafety: It’s area very secureFood & drinks: Have Starbucks inside. So you can buy your breakfast. Take care because they close at 9.30 amAnd they have a little store with basic food and microwave for your food. The give you plastics plates and plastics utensils”
“Stayed here overnight for a work trip and had an excellent experience. My flight landed super early and the front desk was extremely helpful and was able to get me into my room so I could relax before my meetings started. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. There was a nice sitting area in one corner, the bathroom was a decent size, and the bed was comfortable. Can’t ask for much more. Overall my stay here was very pleasant - the next time I’m in town this is where I’ll be staying!”

“Nice hotel with updated rooms, lobby, and bar. I'd give them 5 stars but they charge $15/night for parking while the lot is about 1/2 full. The staff are very kind and there are dozens of restaurants within walking distance.”
“Overall it's a decent place to stay. Definitely a little worn, but for the price, the rooms worked for our group. Breakfast was great. Pool area is very basic, not really ideal for kids.”

The room was nicely furnished and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The exercise room was very nice.
My only complaint about the room is the desk chair which was very worn and should be replaced. Also, the pool is permanently closed and looks like it has been closed for a while.The breakfast was adequate for a motel in this price range.
The location was a challenge as the motel is not at a traffic light, and it's difficult to get onto the busy main road if you are heading west into downtown St. Charles.
Overall, it was a good value for the price, and I would stay here again the next time I am in St. Charles visiting family..”

“1. Guests Services (THE STAFF) gave professional and decent service.
2. Despite the nasty weather conditions outside during my stay, the hotel itself was fairly clean.
3. Housekeeping provided excellent service
4. Laundry room was clean, plenty of washer and dryers, hardly ever used, but it might have something to do with the FACT the washer/ dryers are VERY expensive.
5. The pricing at this location (EXTENDED STAYS) compared to others in the area is almost between 50/75 dollars cheaper.
6. This particular location is near everything shopping, services and foods.
7. The rooms are in need of updating and repairs.
TWO MINUSES
1. THE PERSON UPSTAIRS FROM ME WAS STOMPING TOO MUCH.
2. THE ALARM KEPT GOING OFF IN THE HOTEL.”

“I recently stayed at the Doubletree in Schaumburg, Illinois, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was convenient, and the hotel itself had a welcoming atmosphere.
However, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't access all the television channels I expected, such as CBS and NBC. This minor issue didn't overshadow the rest of my stay, but it would have been nice to have access to a wider range of channels.
Despite this small setback, I would still highly recommend the Doubletree Schaumburg for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and overall pleasant stay.”
