“Katlin deserves to be a store manager due to how amazing she was yesterday! My husband and I were buying a gun safe, ready to spend alot of money for it.We initially were at the menards in carpentersville where we were horribly treated by the manager and resorted to taking our business elsewhere. Katlin initially was in the tile area helping a couple , after she finished with them, she immediately apologized for the time we waited and immediately assisted us in picking out the right safe for us, she.checked the safe herself and walked us through the resetting of it and how to use it. She went above and beyond. I absolutely loved her! Great team and great experience”

“Hands down one of the best stores in all of Chicagoland. Unique, full of strange odds and ends, and good prices. New science experiments for all ages, used military goods (ie WWII gas masks), electronics, etc. I even found a nice telescope here. Its a strange place to just visit, even if you dont buy anything. And the staff were always kind, too, which is a plus. Go visit!”

“What's not to love when the conversation deals with inexpensive tools, gadgets and the like. It's possible many of their goods are produced overseas and if that's a bother, seek out online whiteboards that discuss all the American made items. Stopped in randomly to look around. Found a handy tool to clear a clogged sink(in seconds), a ridiculous amount of rubber bands and a set of tool box accessories, all of which were on sale. There is always some sort of price reductions on useful items you may not (necessarily) need but could have use for one day. With that said, also got some solar pathway pucks for the yard. As seen on TV quality. If you have one of these local to you, it's worth joining their loyalty perks program so you stay up-to-date on price breaks. If you're in the services/ trades, they have many of your needs and offer used equipment for sale.”

“Ultimately, Menards has an edge on Home Depot and even Lowe’s to some extent when it comes to product availability and price for the consistent quality of products.The Fort Hill Dr. Naperville Menards has always been a quality establishment with good employees that are respectful and helpful. No retail establishment will ever be perfect nor can it be, but I still appreciate this Menards for my various home maintenance needs.Just recently located in the parking lot of this Menards (December, 2023) there was a Mexican food truck by the name of The Gorditas Tacos.They have the best Cabeza tacos out of all of Chicagoland that we have tried to date!My fiancé and I have been trying Mexican food throughout Chicagoland for years and out of all of Chicago and the suburbs, this food truck has made the very best Cabeza tacos!I cannot find them on Google, but have requested an addition of this food truck to Google Maps.”

“I don't know how this happened but I went in to buy four screws and four washers. Somehow I ended up paying seven dollars for them. I was still in the parking lot and figured this is not right. I go back in and they saw I had been overcharged and it only cost about two dollars. Strange to be so far off. But they fixed it with no problems”

“I went to Home Depot today looking for some paint and the man at the paint station (I think his name was Jeff) was SO helpful!!! He realized I didn't really know what I was doing or what products I needed, and he took the time to explain the process, recommend certain paint techniques, helped me select which products to buy, and answered all my questions. I've never had such incredible service at a store like this before. He was so focused on helping his customers that I didn't get a chance to properly thank him before he was off to help someone else. Please give Jeff a raise because whatever you are paying him is not enough! :) Even the lady who checked me out was friendly and greeted me with a smile. 10/10 experience shopping at this store, I will definitely be back if I have any other home improvement needs!”

“Ever since i moved to the area i have been in the bartlett location on a weekly basis. Nihad has been my go to guy! Every time i see him he has been working with other staff on improving with resolution and quality talks. The past two visits i went to say hi but saw he was busy working with other associates. So i didn’t want to interrupt. It is good seeing good management in place and see how looking for solutions by talking it out is always much more effective. The people overall seem to care about your experience and its a great environment to shop in. Thanks home depot!”
“Great "small town" hardware store. Never understaffed. You can always find someone to help you. Very nice selection and competitive prices. You can shop online and pickup in store, or go in and talk to someone if you're not sure what you need. Services like screen repair and key duplicating are offered. Plus, you can get in and out in five minutes, and you don't have to walk a mile wandering down endless aisles filled with everything except what you need. The best attribute, though, is the people. Helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to do business with.”
