“This is seriously the best place to get steel toed boots. My husband has used them for years. The last pair he bought were hurting his feet bad even though they were his normal brand/size/style. After a month of trying to figure it out he went inside and they traded his boots for a different pair that was the same size/style/brand. The strange pain went away.
I have also walked in a few times to pick up his repairs. Yes, they do repairs! They never made me wait more than 5 minutes.”
“I had been looking for a new pair of shoes and never professionally had my foot correctly sized so had always just been buying a size or 2 bigger depending on the brand because of how wide my foot is and stores usually not carrying wider sizes in store.
Art was extremely helpful and polite in Golden Shoes and I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a new pair of shoes.
10/10 probably will not ever go anywhere else for shoes again.

“What an amazing staff Rita was outstanding was so helpful brought out multiple pairs of shoes with all types of recommendations evaluated my feet said I needed arc support what a correct statement that was the owner Mel stoped said hi gave me some words of encouragement on my weight loss journey definitely needed to hear those words. And then finally the perfect shoe for my feet was brought out tested with some walking outside which they allowed what a gem of a store I know why they have been in business for so long because they really do care. “I called the Evergreen Park store and talked with Moniece before going there. She was great on the phone, and even better in person. She anticipated my needs and, even better, had all items I needed in stock (unlike other stores). She provided advice and listened to what I had to say. I've been to other DXL locations, and while they were good, Moniece was great.”

The selection is very high quality with a range of price points and categories that make it a complete and comfortable place to purchase your footwear. From athletic, comfort, dress and casual. From Women's, Men's and children's the selection is awesome! I purchased 2 pairs from the men's section which I am thrilled with. There is no online equivalent that can match the hands on in store experience that this store provides. Also, my wife bought a beautifully made handbag and shoes with a pair of orthotics perfectly suited for her feet. This was made possible by a sophisticated computerized device that was something to behold and experience. Of course, no matter how amazing this device is it would be meaningless withoutAlbert 2 Pro the expert assistance of the person who knows how to use the information that it provides.”

The lady who helped was indeed very helpful and found a pair of boots for me that I like and can proudly wear. I recommend this establishment.”

“Ive been shopping at Jmd sox outlet for over 40 years the original store on Harlem. I went back to get my son work sox for Christmas. I was not disappointed. Not only did I find great deals on sox, he got some nice Carhart gear too! The staff were great & helped me find what I was looking for.
