“Advocate is hard to go wrong with. The healthcare experience is always good. Dr Shake is a very kind and thorough clinician as is her medical assistant staff. She is a collaborative care physician. Those who are actively collaborative in their healthcare will get along with her very well. Other physicians might feel intimidated by a patient who knows a lot. Dr Shake on the other hand is impressed by this and encourages active collaboration. The laboratory onsite is a very convenient location. The laboratory technicians are readily able to deal with serious special needs and have specialty needles for pediatric/special needs population (just ask for a butterfly needle) Lab draw was easy non traumatic and I was well informed throughout the process of what was being done. Lab technician moved in a slow and methodical manner well aware that fast moves can cause me to panic (autism and panic disorder) I am very glad I moved my care to this office and look forward to collaborating with the care team for my future care needs. Office environment is A+ - automatic entry doors make entry and exit a breeze carrying charts and the interior carries the classic advocate modernism and has recently been redone.
