“My experience with Rustic Grain comes from their work at the Jesuit Archives & Research Center. We have a very modern building, but we still wanted tables for our patrons that had weight and warmth. Something a little more traditional than other pieces in the building, but still fitting with the overall feel.Rustic Grain was able to create the classic library table we were envisioning! After seeing the craftsmanship of the tables, we knew that any exhibit cases we could simply purchase from a catalog would feel like an afterthought and pale in comparison to the tables. We contacted Rustic Grain again to see if they would be willing to work with us on additional pieces, and they designed and built two beautiful styles of exhibit cases.The work is exceptional, and the team is friendly and fun! Whether you know exactly what you want, or you need some design guidance, they will create beautiful pieces you love to show off!”

“I have been eyeing and researching the Herman Miller Embody chair for many months; with many online options and the high price tag, I felt uncomfortable taking my chances online. However, it’s not the chair you can pick up at your local Office Depot. Centro Modern Furnishings is one of the few local locations that carry Herman Miller chairs, so I decided to stop by and try it out. When I arrived, I received a warm welcome from Ginny, who was very welcoming and knowledgeable, walked me through all the Embody options, and gave me a great tutorial on the chair. I'm very happy with my customized chair and the experience. My special order arrived ahead of schedule, they quality checked it and assisted me with loading it into my vehicle. I highly recommend Centro Modern Furnishings for anyone considering a new Herman Miller office chair. Way better experience than ordering online, great price too! “I agree with the guy below-- everyone in St. Louis should know about Mwanzi, the gateway city's very own Green Building Supplier. As I am buying an older house, I've been exploring my options for renovations. Ideally, most of the work I do will be done with sustainable materials. Even at Lowe's, Home Depot and Lumber Liquidators, sustainable materials still carry a relatively hefty price tag, and for what? Some of the stuff is questionably sustainable, or less sustainable than another brand. After having my cabinets quoted, countertops quoted and floors quoted, I am confident that Mwanzi can give any of those discount suppliers a run for their money when it comes to sustainable materials. You can rest assured at that every bit of lumber is either reclaimed or Forest Stewardship Council certified. One of the neatest things that they do is to claim local, fallen timber from North St. Louis and have it milled into lumber for their very own cabinet line, "Greenhaus Cabinets". These cabinets are made right here in St. Louis of a number of different woods and appear to be made with the finest hardware and craftsmanship. I will be saving all I can to afford my Greenhaus Cabinets, but I will be incredibly glad that I did. The sheer variety of sustainable countertops and flooring offered at Mwanzi is nearly staggering. For countertops they have Cambria, Caesarstone, Bamboo Butcher block, Squak Mtn. Stone, Richlite and Paperstone. There are many many more options for flooring. I look forward to working with them on every home project I am able to afford. I highly recommend making an appointment to see their showroom (yes, the showroom is by appointment only). It is worth the trip!”

“I bought a used washer and dryer front end loaders for $300 they came with a 60 day warranty. Had a little problem with the washer but since the do their own repairs they were able to get their repairman over the same day and he was extremely professional and friendly fixed the problem. Even buttoned up a couple of other issues I wasn't aware of. I highly recommend this store.”
