The Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park is a hotel located near Millennium Park, offering convenient access to downtown Chicago. The hotel features beautiful Christmas decorations and spacious, nicely appointed rooms, especially those upgraded to a Gold level, which provide great views and a quiet environment to relax or work. The staff, including attentive team members like Kenton, are consistently friendly, warm, and helpful, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well cared for throughout their stay. The Gold Lounge offers a lovely space to unwind with light food and drinks, adding to the comfort of the experience. However, many guests find the hotel to be overpriced for what it offers. The hotel is an older building in need of renovation beyond its first floor, which is beautifully decorated. Some amenities, such as the elevators, in-room heating units, and soundproofing, are not up to modern standards. Dining options and other services inside the hotel, including the restaurant and parking, are considered expensive, with some guests feeling that they do not provide good value. Additional charges, like high fees for parking and bottled water, contribute to the perception of overpricing. While the overall cleanliness and staff service are praised, the hotel’s prices and surcharges overshadow some of the positive aspects. Guests who stay here often appreciate the location and friendly service but note that the hotel could benefit from updates to improve comfort and value.
Right next to Aon center. Great place to stay while you’re in Chicago.

Never saw the conceirge, bellmen were too busy to whistle for a cab so we walked down the driveway to hail our own, $20 Amaretto Stone Sour at the bar, I miss the Palmer House. The fees in this hotel were ridiculous. Pretty Christmas decorations though!

I don’t leave reviews ever but I think this place was insanely overpriced for how mediocre it actually was. Plus a bunch of stupid surcharges.
Even with all my credit card benefits that I used here (room upgrade, $100 room service, etc etc) still so not worth it. Go somewhere else.
