“I had been without my car for 6 weeks due to my axle breaking down. I had someone from another shop install the axle and my car was still not drivable. I decided to come to Norwood Auto Service because it was down the block from me and I wouldn’t have to drive my car far. They did a full inspection on my car and sent me a text with EVERYTHING that was wrong with it along with pictures to back it up. I was so impressed by the pictures and detailed commentary. They’re not pushy at all with services which is a huge plus for me since I’m a woman who doesn’t know much about cars. They also told me that the shop that I went to put in the wrong axle for my car which is why my car was still not drivable. They were able to order the correct axle and fix my car completely SAME DAY. Mind you, Eric called me throughout the day to give me updates. The service was just all around stress free for me and I’m very grateful for Eric, who I believe is the manager. They won a customer for life going forward and will forever recommend them. “What a great experience. Not only are they incredibly kind and welcoming, but they're also great when it comes to solving whatever issue you may be having. We went in with a car issue we haven't been able to solve despite having taken it into our dealership 4 previous times and they were able to figure it out in a matter of a few days and gave us the right reccommendations for how to tackle it. Some places are terrible with trying to upsell you. I like the fact that they take time to explain things to you. “Nice and friendly owner that wants to help people and has his employees do the job fast. They only do oil changes and nothing else. If you need the oil change done quickly at a fair price, would come here. I am indifferent about the work that they do since it's just the oil and filter. If you go to a big box oil change place, they check on other things that you may not have thought of. The larger oil change place check for air tire pressure, engine air filter, interior car filter, automatic transmission fluid , brake fluid and more. If you don't know how to check those things, it is nice to have those checked out of you don't change your oil and filter often enough. Good to have reminders on these other car fluid checks on a regular basis. You can look at the check intervals on your car owners manual or looking online for those maintenance periods. I would visit them again if I need a quick change and no other maintenance checks are needed. This place is good for people that need oil changes when they need changes every month or two months of you are driving your car all the time.”

Mechanic Mike was working on a car at 7:30 AM and I walked up before they opened and he immediately helped me - added me into the system and got me my oil change appointment. Dan was also great and he got me out of there by 1:30. I was expecting grunting and poor service and received completely the opposite!! “The maintenance techs were very helpful and clear at what needed to be worked on. I went in for a oil change, and they identified brakes, air filer, and oil change all NEEDED to be done. This was already brought to my attention, so the price was going to decided if I went with them for the work. The price was very fair, and much cheaper than any dealership. I immediately allowed them to work on the car. The entire process took less than an hour, and the car seems to be running like new. I would very much recommend this Jiffy Lube to anyone who needs car maintenance.”

Not only did my car run as though it was brand new, I also received it in a timely manner at a reasonable price. “I came to this location on Archer because the Cicero Avenue location I normally go to doesn't have a lift to do a tire rotation. The technician (the name was Quincy on his shirt) at the Archer shop was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I had the same positive experience here at the Archer location that I normally have at the Cicero location I always go to. It's unbelievable that I have NEVER had a bad customer service experience at Valvoline, which is why I continue to come back. The quality of work has also been excellent. Keep up the great work!”

“My daughter lives in Chicago and three days before the holidays found her car with a flat tire. I called Cassidy tire as I live out of state and Rich not only picked up the phone the first time I called but he helped me identify tires that would match her car and immediately schedule an appointment at the location nearest her house. He did everything to ensure that she had new tires on her car that same day so she could get on the road for the 250 miles she needed to drive the next day for Christmas. The tires were priced reasonably and the staff at the Diversey Parkway location did a great job of helping her from start to finish. I would recommend Cassidy to anyone.”

“I am 58 years old and I have traveled to many places all over the world,,,That should tell you that I have also been to so many Restaurants but I have some sad news for the owners and managers of a local HOOTERS in Hoover-Alabama,,,I got the absolute worst service I have ever gotten anywhere in the world !!!Let me tell you more, when I got there with my family no one even came up to us in order to set us up with a table, I ended up asking the Bar Tender if we could seat ourselves and she said yes,,,So after we go sit down at a Table outside I had to ask for a towel and some cleaner in order to wipe down the Table,,, we had now been there for 20 minutes and still no one had come up to us,,, at that point I went back inside and asked the Bar Tender for 6 classes of water, napkins and some menus, everyone was fuming, After waiting another 10 minutes it now started to get dark out on the patio, I had to go back inside and ask the Bar Tender if she could please turn the lights on,,, still no one has came to our table to take our order,,,I finally decided to get up go back inside and ask the cook who happened to look my way for the Manager,,,When I ask the Manager if we could order some dinner he asked me, : who sat you at your table and got you some water & menus, I told him that I had did it, he just looked away went and got one of the servers to finally take our order after 45 minutes of waiting,,,I never again will go to any HOOTERS !!!Bad, Bad, Bad Service and the place was not the cleanest either !!!As far as I am concerned they get no STARS !!!”
