“Oscar's is a local, indepedently-owned, small business in Chicago. I've used them for several years and the prices are always great. They recognize me when I call or come in, and are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to keep you happy. I was recently in an expensive accident, for the first time. My insurance told me to get an estimate at a big body shop I didn't know. The price was eye-watering. My company decided it was a total loss. However, we love our car and it has only 84,000 miles on it. I decided to bring it to Oscar's to see what they said. They gave us a much better price to fix it. Harry, the amazing owner, talked us through navigating the process of getting an insurance payout while keeping our car. Oscar's price was so good, we decided to repair the A/C compressor as well (needed fixing before the accident). I can't say enough great things about this shop. I'm a customer for life.”

“Needed to fix my brand new Toyota after being side swiped. Live in the neighborhood and heard from others that they do good work. Insurance recommended so I dropped of the Truck. Was informed Truck would be ready the following Tues or Weds. Tues morning get a call and truck is ready. Inspect the Truck and looks amazing. Paint was matched perfectly. Dent was gone. It looks like it never happened.

I spoke with Tony and a lady at the front office, and both provided wonderful service from start to finish. My vehicle had several issues, but Tony and his team took care of every single one. I asked if he could hold my vehicle for a day until I returned to town, and he kindly agreed without hesitation. On top of that, Tony went above and beyond by replacing my key fob battery and giving my car a wash, both free of charge.
The day I was supposed to pick up my vehicle, Tony discovered an additional problem and offered to fix it at no cost. It’s the little things like this that truly set this shop apart from the rest.

“Hands down the best auto repair business I've come across. I actually almost junked my Camry Hybrid because the dealership told me it would be minimum $5-6k to replace the hybrid battery. I took a last chance and asked Ansari at Buddy’s Auto & Body to look at my car (the dealership never even diagnosed it accurately) and he assured me he could replace the batter at a fraction of the cost and my car would have many more years to go! It was fixed the following day for $1500 He even fixed my door hinges for no extra charge. “A few days ago, I desperately looked for a local mechanic/shop to help me do a very simple thing that I attempted do myself. I had to replace both lowbeam bulbs in my car. My hands are kind of arthritic so I was having much difficulty. I drove around the neighborhood and found Lincoln Wilson Auto Service. I walked in and asked for help. A gentleman with the shop told me to pull my car in. I'm sure he sensed my desperation and proceeded to switch out the bulbs for me. No charge. I am grateful for the patience and professionalism of the mechanic who helped me. Sadly, I am forgetting his name, but will be returning for future services. Thanks to this Good Samaritan.”
