“My David Yurman chain’s clasp was broken. I took it to DY and they told me they’d have to send it out for repair, took it to another store and was told the same thing. I decided one last shot to take it to New York Jewelers. They took the chain to the back to evaluate the repair, and 10 minutes later brought it out repaired and polished. Even though I didn’t purchase my chain there, they refused to charge me! Would absolutely recommend this place, and will definitely be the Chicago area jewelry store I use in the future!”
“100% recommended. I found a collectible through their Facebook page and did the whole purchase process rometely from another state without any issues. It was a super smooth transaction and Erick was really helpful the whole time.”
“I found a LV handbag that I had been looking for at Chicago Pawners online. I texted with them and they were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I ordered it and it was shipped right away. The description on their website was extremely accurate as the bag was in pristine condition. I love it and would definitely buy from them again! Thank you”
“Stopped in for a small jewelry repair. They are so nice (not my first time for a small repair here or needed watch battery). They repaired it on the spot! And enjoy stopping to look at all the interesting items in the shop! Love this store. My wife bought me a nice watch here (very reasonably priced) six years ago. I still wear it everyday!”
“Although Howard Pawn may be small in size, they've got a big heart. And I hear that's where God buys his guitars from. Because God Doesn't Always Play Guitar On You Tube, but when he does, he plays the blues.”

“These guys are first class. I’ve relied on them many times over the years and they’ve always been fair and gone out of their way to help. Those are not common attributes in the jewelry and loan business. Wally and the guys that work for him are knowledgeable, respectful, honest, and consistent. I highly recommend using them. Thanks Wally and team!”
“I’ve been here 3 times and I always walk out with watches for my collection! Today I dropped by and was able to grab a couple of watches for family. Ozzie & Erick are both super professional, easy to work with and super laid back and polite. They’ve gained a frequent customer here!”
“I love this place it’s always clean great staff everybody is nice and will work with you I highly recommend you come here it’s the best in the area it’s worth the dive if you’re coming from far distance”
“walked in through curiosity because of a sign on their door, and i met Ray and we talked a bit he answered any questions i had and out of the kindness of his heart he offered to clean my silver chain and bracelet out his free will, i would recommend this shop to anyone in the area. they have a large selection of rings, necklaces and other jewelry items even work power tools. It goes to show how small things make a big impact all it takes is an act of kindness and this world could really use some.”
“A good place to go if you are trying to get a loan on your jewelry which day will give you your jewelry money value but be careful with the merchandise as far as appliances and things like that they not all that good and they don't test the product well and you will be stuck with merchandise that don't work”

“I went in to purchase a PS5. The staff was amazing fast and most of all treated me like family. This is the only black owned pawn shop on the Eastside I know of and we all should support. Again thank you to the whole staff.”
“I came to check on a product and went to a neighboring similar business to price cross. though the other place had a similar pricing for my item, I returned here to conduct my intended business based on the level of customer service Danny provided me with. He was great with a positive attitude the whole way. I recommend doing business here.”

“recently visited this pawnshop and purchased a few items and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Madalin assisted me, and she was incredibly helpful from beginning to end. She was patient, professional, and took the time to show me multiple options without rushing me. She made sure I understood everything and felt confident in my purchase. Her customer service truly stood out, and I would definitely come back because of her.”

“I just picked up my TV today. I was almost 2 weeks behind in payment. I called Oscar the manager I told him my dilemma. if he can give me an extra couple weeks and without a hesitation he said yes. I've been dealing with the store for more than 5 years and by far Oscar's been the best manager that's worked there so far!! And he's a good leader to his employees to!!! And they took really good care of my merchandise. Thanks again Oscar You're the bestest from Michael Ruiz. And PS lol this is the first review of ever done ever and Oscar and the employees their deserve this review!!!”
