SPACE 519 is a small department store and restaurant located in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood. It is a wonderful neighborhood spot and a secret go-to for breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch. The food is excellent, divine, and so good, with a versatile menu featuring nice salad options, farm fresh cuisine, and divine cupcakes. The service is perfect and appropriately attentive. The atmosphere is great. Beverage choices include a lovely, curated wine list and good coffee and tea. After dining, the retail boutique is a fabulous added plus, offering unique clothing and gift items. It is a magnificent place that pays attention to every detail.

What’s good? Hidden breakfast and boutique gem with a hip, city vibe … but still Chicago. Good coffee, small plate breakfast, relaxed enough to read while you have your order or have family. Never feels crowded or rushed.

Vibes are great but their matcha is like green colored milk. I asked them to remake it which they were nice to but the milk to matcha ratio is quite off.
