“I really like this store for finding unique and fun gifts for kids. I bought a set of plushies when our second daughter was born so that my toddler could do a gift exchange when her little sister came home from the hospital. I found the perfect set with Kido, and the plushie even had little glasses that matched my daughter's, which was a cool coincidence! I also had to call the store to confirm something about the order, and the person who answered was really friendly and helpful. Great place to shop!”

“A bit small but fairly well-stocked clothing stores for infants and toddlers. Always have good deals in clearance and door-busters. Reasonable parking is a huge benefit for a store in urban area / busy neighborhood. Carter’s reward program and return policy is very good (not just for this store). It’s also very easy to shop online and ship to the store!”

“It’s my favorite place to get gifts for kids. The staff makes it incredibly convenient too. You can call ahead, tell the staff who the gift is for, your budget and give an idea of what the kid likes (or not if you don’t know) and they’ll find the gift options, text you pictures of what they chose, you finalize, pay over the phone, they wrap the gift, you just show up to pick it up. Voila. Love the convenience. I recently asked for 10 gender neutral gifts under $30 to have them readily available for all the classroom birthday parties we are invited to.”

There was a shirt that I wanted to purchase but it wasnt in the size I needed. So they had it shipped to my home and I even applied for the credit card! “I mail ordered some jeans I liked but needed to exchange for a different size. Samantha helped ring out the exchanges at the register and exchange an item on the floor while Mary checked in the back stock to look for one of my items. They ended up finding the same jeans, color and style, just in the size I requested. Great helpful staff! Aside from myself they kept helping others in checkout and the store is always organized and clean. They deserve recognition and appreciation!”

“I like this location because it's always very well stocked, and usually not overly busy so you can ship easily, even with young kids. There is plenty of parking in the lot, and it is fairly easy to get in and out of from the road. Service is friendly and helpful. One downside is that there are two halves to the store (Carter's and OshKosh B'gosh) with clothing for each age range on both sides, so nothing is consolidated to one area. Another issue, but not specific to this store, is that is so hard to figure out the prices. Everything has multiple price tags, and then discounts, and then discounts on discounts. But still a good place for inexpensive, generally well made kids clothes.”

“I went to the psycho bunny store at the Oakbrook Mall. I was disappointed that you guys did Not have gift boxes, especially around Easter time. This is the biggest selling point after Christmas perhaps you might want to order the boxes. I am almost certain that your loyal customers, will pay extra if they want it as a gift, rather then than have in a bag of plastic. This is not suitable for me or anyone else purchasing your expensive attire.Get some gift boxes corporate office. There is no other store that has your type of style. Keep that in mind so don't take shortcuts and expect people to come back to your store.”

“Between this shop and Virtu in Bucktown, I'm reminded why I love shopping local and why it's so important to do so whenever possible. Vanessa, the owner, is exceedingly kind and stopping in today and having the chance to meet her feels like fate. When I first stopped in the other employee here greeted me and asked what brought me in and if I needed help finding anything. It's not a large place but there is a LOT to look at. They have clothing, accessories, adult jewelry (possibly kids jewelry too, but I wasn't looking at it much), hair notions, and so on. One thing I really needed is a pacifier clip since my daughter has taken to pulling hers out and it ends up in a place in her carseat that is hard for me to reach! They happened to have these which made it a successful shopping trip right there. But whilst we were wandering, Vanessa complimented my sweetie pie and we got to talking. I was in the store for 35 minutes or so and probably half of that was chatting with her. I got a couple of the pacifier clips, and a freaking ADORABLE winter hat that I'm pretty sure is handmade and will probably fly off the shelf. I also bought a book featuring Chicago landmarks which I learned as I checked out Vanessa actually wrote. She autographed it for my baby which I love! Parking is street only and probably can get tough some days, but it's worth the visit. The store is full of really high quality items. They have quite a few Chicago-themed items as well, such as the aforementioned hat, onesies, t-shirts, and so on. It was so nice to talk with Vanessa and get to know her a bit. This is a small shop with big heart and should be on your list of fave baby shops in Chicago.”

“This is thee place to go to for communion dresses! They have so many different styles and most importantly different sizes to choose from! There are so many it makes it hard to pick one! They have everything you need here and on top of that the owners are the nicest people ever! They are so helpful and genuinely care to help you find what you want.
