The customer service level was off-the-charts. Ella, my consultant, was the absolute best consultant I have had when trying on MOB or MOG dresses over the years. She was thoughtful and intuitive and kind. As a breast cancer survivor, I was very self conscious. She made me feel beautiful and at ease. And the owner kept checking in during our appointment. The Mira experience is amazing! Their inventory is extensive, and they make you feel so special!”
“I haven’t worked out in YEARS, probably 5-6 years so I was hesitant to try anything else, publicly, again. Pure Barre was suggested to me via some friends and after doing some research, I decided to give Pure Barre a try at the Lakeview location. I ended up being the only one in the first timer class and Chesney made me feel comfortable and supported! It was definitely a tough workout but it was a good workout. Afterwards, Chesney went over all the details of how everything works and a tour of the facility, which was really nice! It was a great experience that felt truly personalized but I was not pressured to sign up, which is always a nice feeling. I did end up signing up, but not because I felt pressured which makes it all the worth it! I’ll be back! :)”

“I’ve been on the hunt for new denim but have felt overwhelmed at department stores and have failed miserably online. Tiffany at The Denim Lounge to the rescue! I told her my preferences and she pulled a great selection of jeans for me to try on. She was super friendly and helpful and I found 2 pairs of perfect jeans (and some other cute clothing items as well). This store has an excellent selection and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!”

“Vans corporate has kneecapped the physical Vans store experience. There used to be 3 or 4 Vans stores in downtown Chicago and now there's 1 mediocre one. There are for the most part better deals on Vans' own website than in-store. If you know your shoe size and know you want Authentics or Old-Skools then there's really not a great reason to ever visit.
The only upside is Vans' website sucks so if your device freezes up every time you use it you might be able to go in store and find what you're looking for.
Sales associates walk around and are eager to help, A+ to them.
Vans is unfortunately a shell of their former selves after a series of poor corporate decisions. Which is unfortunately I and many people I know grew up with the brand.”
“From outside their bangle section caught my eye, so we stepped inside. There was a gentleman there who was an extremely wonderful and amiable person. He assisted us in looking at the bangles. He possessed a fantastic collection—which included the Kashmiri bangles that are currently quite popular.

“Raw Edge is a lovely little artisan boutique in Lincoln Square. They sell a bit of everything and it’s a great shop to bop into when you’re looking for a gift for friends, colleagues, family, or yourself! They have original art, prints, cards, jewelry, sweaters, children’s clothes, soaps, candles, ornaments, and more. There are over 65 makers represented in the shop and it’s connected to a airplane-themed coffee shop that has pastries and coffee, along with ample seating.

“I visited this store a couple of months ago and was really impressed with their huge selection of western wear. We ended up buying two pairs of boots and two hats so many great options to choose from!
After our trip, my boyfriend noticed a manufacturer defect in his boots. I brought them back to the store, and the management team handled the situation quickly and professionally. They truly went above and beyond to make things right.
