It’s so hard to find good places to go for good customer service anymore, and this one I recommend if you care about patronizing a place with great customer service, like myself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
“The employee quickly and easily handled my UK shipment, which was something three clerks at other branches (two at 540 N. Dearborn and one at 3024 N. Ashland) couldn’t figure out. She was also kind and warm. Also, it's small, not crowded, and easy to get in and out of.”

“Cute small and old style mail office conveniently placed in a small downtown area , I went for a couple stamps for postcards, the attention was really good , lola took time to search for some specialty stamps (american revolution ones) i was interested in , overall great service and wasn't busy at all”
“I’ve always enjoyed prompt and good customer service at this location.
The only reason I give four stars is because they need to clean up and organise their walk-in customer area regularly .”

“I am always stressed to the max when coming to the post office but my lovely new friend Cherie that works there was so calm and helpful. I had to repackage all of my things twice so I saw her interacting with a lot of people that came through and she is truly such a sweet and kind lady. Also very knowledgeable about her job. “This is my new local post office and I avoided it the first few weeks because of the awful reviews. Once I finally went I really had no trouble. Not really any lines and Precious is always very nice as well as everyone else here. Never anIssue anytime of day. I had a package mishap only once when a different worker didn’t tell me the address wasn’t coming up for where I was sending it to-so it was returned to me and I had to pay shipping for it twice. Other than that 5 stars and im in here 2-3 times a week at different times during the day.Update like a year later : I wish I could leave another separate review as they really are always so nice here and it’s too bad the old reviews keep the overall reviews of this post office so low. Had a prepaid return but not a box for it (couldn’t use the free priority boxes) was about to buy one when a worker gave me a free box from the back.”
“Went in as a family of 2 to get passports , the woman who helped us was very patient and helpful she had just gotten done with another family of 3 passports. She did have a line but she was nice to every single customer that came in and wasn’t rushing she treated us very well.”

There is free visitor parking just north of the building. Walking time to post office maybe 4 mins. Overall I had a great experience.”

“Out of the seven post offices near my house that I visited, this location by far has the most polite employees.
It’s located just minutes off of I-290.
You can find a few free parking spots in front of the building otherwise. Also, there is a parking lot on the other side of the street that can fit more people.
This post office was pretty clean as well.
When I visited, there was only one other person in line.”
“This is literally the best post office I’ve been to in my entire life. Maybe you have to go in the middle of the day on a Tuesday… IDK IDK. Great customer service.. fast moving line… clean and well stocked. 10 out of 10.”

“Came in on a Monday around 5:30 pm before closing. Not a long line. I was just dropping off some packages. The lady at the desk was friendly and I was in and out in 10 minutes.”

“In late April, I visited the Dearborn branch of the U.S. Postal Service to submit my documents for passport renewal. Given how excruciating such bureaucratic business can be, *Jerry* seemed Heaven-sent as the angel who processed my passport renewal request with attention, care, kindness, and infectious humor! Jerry was as funny as he was informative. Sure enough, each step towards obtaining my new passport occurred just as Jerry predicted. I am eternally grateful to Jerry for his diligence, expertise, humor, and superlative courtesy towards us cranky and nervous clients!”

And even apologize for the wait was you are being helped. People just need to have patience these days and many don’t. I’m always greeted with a warm smile, and great service. My favorite post office! Thank you ladies! Keep up the great work!”
“I can’t praise the service of USPS enough. My sister sent me a package from abroad, but the local post office put my house number as the zip code, and the address on the mailing label was missing my house number. It’s express mail, but the tracking shows no location. I was so afraid that the package would be lost somewhere. I went on the USPS website and filed an inquiry. A customer service representative from the Westchester post office sent me an email and called me the next day. She explained to me how the shipping works and assured me that she would pay attention to the package when it arrived.
It’s been nine days since my sister sent it out. She was planning to purchase another one and send it to me again. On a whim, I rechecked the USPS tracking and found it had been sent to the Westchester post office this morning. Believe it or not, I got it this afternoon. Awesome service.”
“Kenneth is the best. He acknowledges everyone and happy to help. I was going to prioritize mail and he suggested certified to send tax info because as long as it’s postmarked, no penalties. He didn’t have to tell me this option. He saved me some money because he’s kind. This office is always friendly and nice. The other reviews are unfair. This is a small post office, but gets the job done in a friendly way!”

Today we walked in for a passport renewal and the man at the front named KEVIN helped us in less than 10 minutes. Maybe 5 minutes. We were actually shocked. He was so kind, patient, and relaxed. He spoke English and a bit of Spanish even. Please do not lose him he's amazing.”
