“This store has stayed clean and friendly since they opened. Came in looking for some essentials and I carry a big purse, not always but sometimes it's just easier. The employees did well with managing the front counter and I could tell I was being checked on, which is understandable no one wants to be stolen from especially not when they work hard to provide a well organized store. The only section that wasn't well organized was the clearance section and even that area looked good. I appreciate this store, I feel safe, respected and I can rely on them having something at least compatible to what I'm looking for. Not always a cheap trip but always a grateful trip. “Even though Some things can be far and higher than most of your food store. S the selection is beyond compare, especially with produce, it is a fantastic store. It has a fantastic Delhi meat department has everything you can imagine carries just about every single brand their sales are really, really good and they have hot food there too, like 2 or 3 different sections of hot food. I've never had to have a complaint about the place.Very super clean , it would be amazed at how much they have there and how good everything is”
“The store was remodeled and looked much better. I no longer live in the area and have been gone for years now. I was impressed compared to the way the store used to look. The only thing I had an issue with was the cashier. I feel she needs to work on her customer service skills. Otherwise I would still recommend this place and I will come back if I'm in the area.”
“Good selection of fresh produce, meats, organic grocery items, and healthy options overall. There is a section with items that are "here today, gone tomorrow" that I feel always has some items worth checking out, whether seasonal or going out of stock.
I usually bring my reusable bag and put my items in there, but if I forget it I can usually find an empty box on the shelf or in one of their carts that I can use to put my items in to save on plastic waste and buying a bag from them. Super convenient and great for the environment.
Good selection of meats and fruit, especially if you want something locally grow. Prices fluctuate but they seem reasonable to me in comparison for the quality of items you're getting.
I will say the self checkouts rolling out at many of the Aldi's are game changers. Otherwise, the lines can get pretty ridiculous and, besides holidays, I don't think I've ever seen more than two lanes open at a time at ANY Aldi from Illinois to Indiana. Other than that, I love going to Aldi for the prices, quality of ingredients, and the "here today, gone tomorrow" section!!!
P.S. there is a section in most Aldi locations with items from gardening to shoes to blankets to coloring books. Great finds in there too!!!”
“Pretty clean. Easy to find what I went there for, Cookies! They also had a very thick glaze on top of cinnamon rolls, so I picked those up as well. Only disappointing item was the off-brand Ho Ho's, very very small in comparison to any others.”
“Absolutely loved this family owned grocery store! Its always clean and the employees are lovely. My husband loves coming here for the deli meats and marconi bread. Prices are market value especially because ita bot owned by a corporation. Recommend!!!! They also sell Zarlengos Gelato!! Delicious ?”

“My husband had a hankering for a libation to pair with his homemade bbq made for Mother's Day. He was able go promptly choose from their selection (a newer offering from Budweiser) and was out in a jiffy. The area is a bit scruffy so stay on point, keep the dillying and dallying to a minimum and you should be all good.”

The woman who runs it reminds me of my grandmother, she’s always so nice and welcoming. I have tried many Nigerian food spots and now of them even comes close to her superb cooking skills. “Don Mike is always very kind and helpful, he takes pride in everything he does. Always wants his customers to leave happy and with the freshest food! Last time I sent my fiancé to get some guacamole for some tacos and he came home so excited to have it as an appetizer because he said Don Mike made it from scratch right in front of him! A must try! The meat is always fresh here and I love that he even carries Mexican clay kitchenware and other authentic Mexican items that you normally can’t find in regular stores.”

“My neighbor hood go to for deli meals! You can can count on them to hook you up with the best deli meal specials whenever you need a variety meal that taste so good! Like omg I’m 31 going on 32 and I never had bones in my meal that just melt off into the bone gris where the bone is so soft to chew and eat with the whole meal. I’m so impressed 5/5 every meal this month has tasted so good for my lunch/dinner for the day. Good job fasho!”
“One of the few places around with craft beer, but you'll pay for it. Like 17 bucks a 6 pack. It legitametly is one of few places to find good beer though. They also have kratom and cbd products at the counter”

“Their meat is always really fresh! The breads are always soft and fresh! Their employees are always kind and helpful when I’m there! They are always well stocked. Extra points for not using latex gloves (they use nitrile) for those of us with latex allergies it’s a nice gesture!”

“I love this store. My partner lives very close so we go there all the time. The employees are excellent. It has a mom and pop store feel. They remember you. Ask about you. They're so nice and helpful. They have an excellent selection for a small convenience store. They have many salty and sweet snacks, pantry and freezer grocery items, many beers though not refrigerated, and the best prices on vapes. I live in Hammond and would often rather drive there than go to stores nearby due to service, prices, selection, and to support a local business. I suggest you do as well.”
