“To be fair, we only stayed here overnight as our son was scheduled for surgery the next morning and it was right down the street. The only other Hyatt House we have stayed at is in Indianapolis when we go to Pacer games.
The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We pulled up, checked in and the wife and son headed to the room while I parked. As I am walking to the entrance I see a Fire Truck pull up. Inside the Fire Alarms are going crazy. Took me a minute to locate the family but they were on the patio. Staff said its just something burnt in a microwave and if we did not mind the smell we could return but FD at elevators said no until its cleared out. That took about 20 minutes and we got back in our room.
Later I left to get some food and noticed 2 Oak Brook Officers standing with a lady by a luggage cart full of items. Didnt think anything about it but as I walked out the door I heard a commotion and turned to see them hooking her up as she resisted. Related to the fire alarm? who knows.
The room was ok but it along with the hallways are in some serious need of refurbishment. Lamp shades were ragged, no usb ports for charging, (only in the lobby area which was nice) shower head was wobbley and it leaked out the glass door onto the floor. Bathroom sink was small and not a lot of room for stuff. I guess for the name/price I expected a little bit more and modern. It looks like they cater to a lot of construction workers or extended stays. Only reason we were in the area was for the surgery, probably will not have a reason to stay overnight again but would probably only book again if nothing else was available as was the case with this stay.”
“We had a wonderful experience! The front desk staff Geoyce, Pagni, Kristina were friendly and helpful! Our breakfast server on Sept 4 and the remaining days was attentive and friendly. The bar/restaurant staff were also friendly and attentive”

“I was there for a business conference this past weekend, I totally loved the hotel, it was well lit, clean, ample parking, the conference room the we were at was super big and warm, we were a big group. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were really nice and clean, their cleaning crew where checking that the bathrooms were properly stocked and clean at all times, they have nice eating areas with tvs and plenty of places to seat down, I didn't get to see the bedrooms but if I'm going to judge by what I saw in the lower level I'm sure they are wonderful too, I totally recommend this hotel. ?❤️”

“I recently stayed at the hotel for a yearly birthday/pool get away. Winnie at the front desk was super accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were cleaning happy they were able to get our rooms by the pool area. The pool temp was warm along with the pool area with temps outside dipping to -22 windchills. Devon at the restaurant/bar was just great too! One complaint...BRING BACK THE QUESIDILLAS! lol”

Aloft was suggested by our local colleagues and finally we got it.
The hotel is OK, nothing special.
It is located in a central location.
In short distance there are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers.
It is bad that decent breakfast cannot be found at the hotel.”

Every detail was carry out, especially the banquet staff. They are to be committed for the turnaround and outstanding job that they did. And getting the room set up and broke down for our conferences, couldn't. He did it without their help.”

“ad a wonderful 3-night stay at Residence Inn Chicago Bolingbrook in a king suite. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The exercise room had all the equipment I needed for my workouts, which was a big plus. They also have a nice indoor swimming pool, though adding a hot tub would make the experience even better.
The outdoor fireplace area was especially relaxing and a great place to unwind in the evening. Breakfast was yummy with good variety each morning, which we really appreciated during our stay. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.”

“2/2 on absolutely FANTASTIC stays at this wonderful place! The first time we came down and stayed for 4 nights and it was just as great as you imagine it will be looking at the pictures! “The Extended Stay Lombard/Yorktown was more than just a hotel—it was home. I stayed there comfortably for nearly two years, and from the beginning it felt warm and welcoming. The staff goes far beyond standard customer service; they genuinely treat their guests like family.
That sense of comfort carries into the rooms as well. The suites feel more like apartments or condos, complete with a full living area, a divided kitchen with barstools, and a large refrigerator. There’s plenty of space to set up a separate office, which made long-term living easy and practical.

“I have been treated so kindly by the manager Sujo. He is one of the sweetest managers I have encountered. I have been traveling around to many motels and hotels in the past couple of months. He is caring and efficient. He goes the extra mile to help out the guests here. The rest of the staff just as friendly. The housekeeping work very hard to keep the rooms clean. Rooms are very clean. This location is within walking distance to many stores for things for the room. There are rooms with a microwave and refrigerator. Great TV stations to choose from. I definitely recommend this property for a stay. Room rates are usually lower than other places and with this economy..u can't beat it. Thank you Sujo for all u have done for me in my stressful time!!!”

“I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Lombard for 2 nights this past weekend, And this is a very nice hotel.
The entire hotel looks to be recently renovated and well kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure and spray pattern. My only complaint was the thermostat would not go below 65 degrees -- just my personal preference, but room was good temperature.
The complementary service in the AM has one of the best set up's I have experienced at many of Embassy Suites I've stayed at. The omelet service is separate from the buffet area and is served to you by an attendant.
My only gripe with the hotel is the $12.50 per night charge for parking, which is almost a given at hotels now but in the suburbs where parking isn't a premium is unwarranted.
Also kudos to the hotel staff that worked the weekend of the night of the 7th and morning of the 8th. There was a swarm of difficult guests attempting to complicate the hotel and be a pest and disturbance and they staff handled that group like true professionals. I will definitely look to stay here in the future.”
