When I first began my running journey in 2008 there were only proper running stores in Downtown Chicago where I could get a proper fitting for my stride. Those days are so long gone thanks to 847RC! ??♀️Now, I can simply call upon my friends down the street at 847 to help me feel my best while I pound the pavement. I had the absolute best experience working with Jonathan and ultimately purchased a new Precor elliptical. “Rainbo is the best place in Chicagoland for all things skating. Their expertise in skates are second to none. I highly recommend you call and make an appointment if you need any maintenance or need to order skates. They are extremely busy because of the high caliber of service, and you may not be able to "drop in"”

“I found Rally House by accident, but this is my second visit to this wonderfull sports store! The most amazing thing is that they have so many different styles and sizes...and all in inventory! Magnets, flags, T shirts, sweatshirt, pants, coats... for all the Chicago pro teams, major universities, and even the Green Bay Packers! When ever I am in the Chicago area, I skip all the tourist traps or airport shops and go straight to Rally. (they also have a bunch of kids sizes as well!)”

“If you’re a hockey newbie or event pro, this is the place to go!I signed up to take adult beginner hockey lessons with my partner. Liam helped us for almost two hours helping us get everything you could possible need to play the game while also actively helping us look for the most affordable options so we weren’t breaking the bank. He also helped us understand what the purpose and how to put the gear all on.I’m so glad he was there to be incredibly helpful and now I feel fully prepared to take my first ever hockey class!”

“This is a nice and clean REI location with a great selection of products and in stock inventory.
Every time I'm here, I'm usually able to find what I need, and even if I don't buy anything, it's fun to just look around at all the stuff they sell.
The staff seems friendly and offers help while I'm browsing or want to try on any clothing. I've never had even a remotely negative interaction with anyone working here in the past 5 years shopping at this or any other REI stores.

Took a look at my sons balance and stride and listened to his concerns and picked out the shoes he should try. The knowledge itself was 5 stars, but the sincerity and friendly attitude made this a great place and a great small business to support. We were visiting, but if they were in Virginia I would never go anywhere else.”
“Brought my son to the Home Ice Advantage training class and Troy was fantastic. He's a natural at what he does, super friendly yet focused. The training was engaging, and my son had a blast during the stick and puck session. The facility is spot clean and easy to get to. We're really happy we found this place and will definitely be back for more training.”

Even though there is a no return policy on clearance cleats, the nice lady at the store allowed me to exchange the cleats for a size down. Very happy with my purchase. “I had a really excellent experience with Fitness Warehouse buying a Precor elliptical. First of all, Richard and Boris were a delight to work with. Kind, informative, and attentive throughout the entire process. Secondly, the reconditioned machine they picked for me is a great one...it's only "gently used" and arrived to me reconditioned, clean, and in excellent condition. Richard handled everything with personal attention, and Boris even called me on a Saturday night to check whether the machine had arrived yet...how many companies do THAT! All told, a wonderful experience and I'd do it again.”
