“My friend and I like to go here after our trip north to Rollin' To Go. The store is very small from the outside, but there is a pretty good selection once you step inside.”

“This place is near my office and they have the best sandwiches. I particularly love that they have options for vegetarian sandwiches. The Paulie Walnuts portobello mushroom sandwich is my absolute favorite. They also have some of the best roast beef around. their staff are really friendly and helpful!”

“Always a happy place to shop at. Great items for sale too. I've always wondered how come other retail places don't have smiling employees like Trader Joe's does.”

“They have good prices and carry bulk items that no one else in the area carries, most of it organic. Lots of spices, herbs, tea, grains both whole and ground. Prices are lower than many online retailers and Whole FPaycheck. Very reasonable on produce and have many health products.”

“They always greet us when we walk in and remember my boyfriend and ask after me when I don't come with him. Its nice to feel like this place is a little staple of our neighborhood.”

“If you need the highest quality fruits and vegetables this is THE place. There is no other store that I have found that has the quality and shelf life of Whole foods. Any fruit or vegetables you buy from them will last much longer than fruits or vegetables from another store. Jewel's produce department is horrible compared to Whole foods. You can find bagged salads going bad in the bag. Their organic produce is atrocious. Their organics are not fresh. Whole foods knows how to handle their produce in such a way that the shelf life is much longer. For the most part Whole foods has better customer service. Some employees could be better in terms of customer service. You may pay more for produce but the shelf life makes it worth it. Oftentimes I find that many products are cheaper at Whole foods compared to other stores. If produce is important to you then this is your store. The downside I would say is the lack of variety compared to what you could find at an Asian produce market.”

“I love that they got them chips and dranks that you only can get in a neighborHOOD store most of ya, should not be in a big city mile radius of. That priorly scripted is not what makes it a fresh kinda like "Spike Lee Joint"They got volume of stuff your fresher, more city acclaimed, and straight up cooler (then the others) your best Aunt and/or Uncle prefers to munch down on or have a sip of. Chips to Alcohol to papers to a real neighborhood respected community member behind the counter; that always remembers your name and is funky enough to always be sincerely happy to have a quick (20-58 sec.) twenty to fifty eight second quick session, grind or rap with. {In proper English; that is rather refreshing, and if you a real ..., no need to trip [be nervous] or be on guard or ready to parley when you in this neighborhood staple, especially when your peep (or your older siblings) went to High School with is behind the counterThey take Food stamps FYI.FOR REALZ: They carry "MUNCH KING" 'Plantain Strips with Sea Salt'They WIN”

“Schmerling's chocolate liquor is so precious and hard to get these days that it's kept under lock and key. There's a great kosher bakery here, but why no cinnamon buns?”

“Other than Sam's Club, this place has the best fuel prices in Evanston. The window washing squeegees are either not good or not even there. Can't complain though, since the prices are good.”

“Seems to be a nice supermarket in the neighborhood, i was there on a Thursday afternoon, not much people there. I used the self check out, easy, the most impressive thing to me is their plastic shopping bag, very thick and seems very good quality. I never seen such thick plastic bag in a supermarket. That's great!”

“Great selection of kosher foods and in general always good quality and fresh. Helpful staff and managers. Great selection of produce and snacks always have what you need. In addition to onsite bakery’s, deli’s and a great sushi shop. They also have a great Osco section with all the toiletries and household supplies you’ll need so really a great store to have in the area. Highly recommended for your weekly grocery shopping or just for a nice quick snack grab.”
