“My go to location for the self service dog wash. No issues when I went and they've improved the water pressure and dryer pressure which is essential for my fluffy poodle. Only thing the company as a whole needs to do is get an authentic oatmeal shampoo or change the name to something floral because it severally lacks any component of oatmeal”
“This place is an absolute local gem with great prices and the owner, Laura, is SO welcoming and helpful! My dog chewed through her leash on our morning walk, not living in the neighborhood I googled the pet store nearby and Laura's shop was the closest. What I intended to be a quick trip to buy a leash ended up being 15+ minutes of chatting with Laura about my dogs fav treats, different food options, and tips on how to help her stop biting a leash. We left with samples and a free treat for my pup. I've never ONCE experienced this kind of quality service at a big box pet shop. Im hooked, and will be back! Thank you, Laura!”

“I experienced PETCO Grooming Salon early this year in March and have no complaints. I looked at reviews before going so I knew the groomers I wanted for my fur baby, fortunately I received one of them and she was my first choice, Donny. She did an amazing job, couldn’t have asked for more and her professionalism character and patience was on point. She seems to love animals and it shows in her work. Everyone else I encountered while there were wonderful too. I just purchased another baby and will be taking them both in for grooming. You seem to have a great staff there, don’t let them get away.”

“Best pet store in Chicago! I've been going there for 35 years. Healthier fish than any other store in this city! Tony is alright! Everyone has a bad day sometimes! And he has been working on his feet for 8 hours! Hey lady have some compassion for him, imagine if you worked on your feet for 8 hours and he came to your job and stopped you from going home at the assigned time? How would you treat him? Next time go earlier. I think Tony's last job was a bouncer in a lounge. Lol.just kidding. I love goldens pet store and everyone in it. Tony is a hard worker, he is very helpful to Mr Golden. And he is loyal to Mr Golden. That's what matters the most! If you want healthy fish; then go to Golden's. if you don't then go somewhere else!”
“An A+ for this store, I was there today and the guy at the cashier when I asked him if he could call someone because I needed help with some medicine for my dog, he immediately called so I could receive assistance, then a guy named Armando came and was super friendly, he took all the time necessary to explain to me about everything I was asking him, excellent worker, thanks to the attitude of these people of course I will gladly return to this store, I wish other stores had staff as cordial as here!!”

“Was referred here by an associate to get help with tank repair and ended up not needing the repair I thought was necessary. So, I ended up taking a chance on buying a marine fish. Although, my wife was getting tired of losing fish we'd purchased from a store in Tinley Park and was losing interest from the hobby. I explained my dilemma to the store owner and he agreed to help me win my wife's trust back into the hobby. Let's say I haven't lost any live stock since working with him. Wife is back on board and excited to redecorate the aquarium. Thanks for the great store experience and future endeavors.”

“I love love love your staff! My dog was in a bad fight when he was a puppy and as a result he doesn’t get along with other dogs so it’s very stressful taking him to get his shots every year. I call when I arrive and tell them about Jax and they greet me at the door and escort me through the store along the sides where there are no other doggies. I’m so grateful for these kind hearted people. They turn a very stressful situation into a very pleasant one! Thank you!!”
“I honestly don't understand the bad reviews based on my own personal experience. I have never dealt with the company directly. However, I have seen the results with the food. I have a Doberman who is used to eating home cooked food, but it was just too much work. She is fussy. I have tried all the premium brands and even imported food on Amazon that was not locally available. I literally bought this food out of interest and desperation. I was expecting to dump in the garbage. Was I surprised! She devoured it and has kept devouring it. The vet has commented on her excellent condition and many other dog owners as well. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it. I understand that you are in a highly competitive industry worth billions of $$$. I trust my dog to choose what is best for her. You have a client for life unless to sell to one of the big conglomerates.”
“What can I really say about PerSmart...except they have a large variety of cat food...which is what pertains to us...and a heck of a lot if other stuff u can find for ur cats too...and also a karge dog selection if food and items...they have birds there and sometimes other adoptable small animals...and i even think i have seen cats there for adoption too...very friendly and helpful associates...and it is nice that people can also bring their pets into the store too...never used their clinic...so do not really know much about that...defenitely worth giving this place a chance....much luv...k”
“THEY TOOK GREAT CARE OF MY BOY. I took my Golden puppy over to Armor park and he got himself all muddy. Now I never thought I'd pay for a dog bath because that's something I can do myself but when I dried him off he had a bunch of little knots and after a couple weeks my sister said they were getting bad and I needed to take him somewhere. I always get coffee next door so I gave this place a try. I thought they were gonna have to chop him up but when I got him back he looked real neat and smelled fresh. They even brushed his teeth and I think it's the first time his breath didn't knock me out at night. Anyway, the people in there are great, I'll get there names the next time cause I'll be back for sure”

“So I’m not going to put a 1 star for this place all because of one person. I come here literally all the time. Yes you guys need to do a better job with the fish area it used to be great with Cory and it’s lacking a lot of care…. But anyway I hope you get that figured out. So ya anyway.. The new girl who’s not actually from your location, she told me she is just “helping out” I guess? She was in the fish area helping me get some fish. She was young. Idk her name. I did not appreciate how she was talking to me acting like I can not take care of my fish tank saying I’m the reason of killing my fish and I have bad fish conditions. Just being rude. I have an amazing tank. I’ve had the same fish in my tank for years. I know what I’m doing little lady. My tank is crystal clear all the time. My fish are not stressed out. I check on it daily. So don’t tell me that I don’t know what I’m doing you don’t even know what my tank looks like it’s almost at a bio active state. Just so extremely rude of her to talk to me like that and make the comments of idk what I’m doing? And she just kept going on and on…. Even after I told her Ive had my tank for years I know what I’m doing. Maybe talk to someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing and asking for help. Because I wasn’t asking for help. I was buying like 3 fish. Just her comments towards me were so uncalled for. I miss Cory he was the best there. I’d rather have anyone though than that other girl. She can’t keep her mouth shut. But I still like this store just not that girl I hope I don’t see her ever again”
“Located as a stall inside the "Discount Mall", not where pictured. Mostly birds stuffed into cages too small for them, some without water. Quaker Parrots, Love Birds, Finch, Budgie and doves. Cages were pretty clean.”
“If you are a truck driver delivering cans, check in beside the gated off docks at the shipping office. There's a toggle switch that has a flip up cover on it, that you flip and leave on until they open the door behind the gate to get your bills and assign a dock. Only 1 dock open between two old trailers that seem to stay in place. Fast unloading.”

“The service itself is good, the groomers are very nice. However, both times I took my dog in for her special service appointment (she's a bulldog so I can't schedule it with a regular groomer) the groomer was late. Also, one of these appointments was set at 7:30am, before the store opens at 9am. There should be a better process for pet drop off. Right now, myself and other pet owners had to wait at the door outside (25*F) until the other pet owner finished checking in because we aren't allowed to be in the store area while it is closed. You have to go into the store to get to the groomers entrance.... when I picked her up, it was 15 min before opening and i wanted to make a few purchases. The the groomer had said I could walk around until the store but maybe she misunderstood my question because the cashier told me to leave immediately because there is no walking in the store until they are open at 9am. While yes, I get that this may be store policy... it doesn't feel efficient or sensible while the groomer is open and I have to wait around for my dog's special service appointment to be complete. She is not allowed to Stat because of her breed and breathing.”
