It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”

“This Meijer is huge and I've never seen it busy, even on the weekends! The grocery side of the store can get a little busy but the center household/clothing section and the home improvement section on the other side is always empty. If you walk around for long enough you'll start finding the secret clearance sections!”

“Customer service was surprisingly excellent. I was asked by more than one person there if I needed help or if they could do anything for me. I think I was asked four times by different people and twice by one man. That's really excellent. They can be proud of that.
Found another cologne that I like. I like the Arabic colognes of Oud wood. Lately they have had quite a few. Should have bought the one box that they had of a different type but still Arabic. Quite nice. These better colognes surprisingly are in the cheaper section, not in the boxes that are locked up.”
“Although customer service wasn’t able to help me with what I needed I’m not going to be sour grapes and give them a bad review because their customer service was excellent and they did exactly what they were supposed to do. I didn’t get the results I liked, but they were still very good at what they did.The store is extremely well stocked with a huge variety of items!Each department has a good variety of items and sizes and the racks are extremely full.The store is easy to get to from the parking lot. “The associates at this store are very friendly and helpful. Last week, I wanted to buy this kids kitchen set in the toys section, but the box was giant. I had my baby in a stroller and I couldn't carry it with the stroller. I asked the associates if they could bring the box to checkout and then down to the exit so I could put it in my car. I'm so appreciative of the staff for helping me. One associate brought it to the register so I could purchase it and another brought it down to the door so I could load it in my car. They were so patient with me. Thank you both so much from a thankful mom.”

“I recently visited JCPenney for the first time in many years, and the experience reminded me why in-store shopping still has its own kind of magic. I decided to stop in on Black Friday, mostly out of curiosity, and I was genuinely surprised by how many great deals I found. From clothing to home items, the discounts were impressive, and I ended up picking up far more than I expected simply because the prices were too good to pass up.
What stood out most was how enjoyable it felt to actually browse through the store. There’s something refreshing about seeing the merchandise in person, feeling the fabrics, comparing colors, and stumbling across unexpected finds. It’s an experience that clicking buttons online just can’t replicate. Walking through the aisles brought back a bit of nostalgia too—JCPenney has that familiar department-store charm that’s increasingly rare these days.
The store was organized, easy to navigate, and the staff was helpful even with the holiday rush. Instead of dealing with shipping delays or guessing how something will look when it arrives, I left with everything I wanted right away.
Overall, my return to JCPenney was a pleasant surprise, filled with great deals and the simple enjoyment of shopping the old-fashioned way. It definitely won me back.”

“Located in the Chicago Fashion Outlets, this Bloomingdale's Outlet had the best selection of men's higher end designer fashions all together than any other outlet stores around. The items available are from very good brands like Boss and Vince (entire racks of choices) though not the highest end (since the parent department store wouldn't either), with selection larger than what you might see at the parent department store, but of course with everything at least 30% off. We wanted to try this one since many of the brands also has their own outlet store close by in the mall. But unless there is a big sales going on in the brand outlet store (which wasn't the case during Father's Day), this store will have better prices and an almost equal selection. Recommend that if you like a particular brand, check out the selection here before purchasing anything in the brand outlet store.”

“This place has been around for 8 years and how am I just finding out about this gem?! I found the same brands I buy at Discovery for even less here. I found adorable comfy clothes and some beautiful home decor items. The fragrances arent the best but they have a wide selection to try. You may be able to find one for really cheap that you like!They have a wide selection of coats, sweats, yoga pants, shirts, dresses, shoes.I was very impressed with the variety of vases, mirrors, art, and decorative items. Don't worry about the employees since they work long hours and you just have to be grateful that they are there and this place exists. They may not be the most helpful but it's not the biggest deal.”
