He is helping us to make Murphy's last days comfortable. His vet tech and the receptionist make us feel at home when we visit. We can't say enough about the care our pet receives at this hospital. He is the best vet in the area.

604 N State St, FreeburgWe've been taking our cat to Anrus for 15 plus years. Dr. Angie and Dr. Miller are both wonderful and caring. We had to have our sweet cat, Tango put down the Monday before Christmas. Dr. Miller was very compassionate and let us take all the time we needed in the room with her before and after she took her last breath. Today we received a very touching sympathy card with notes from Dr. Angie and Dr. Miller. Will definitely stay with Anrus if we ever get another pet.

106 S Alton St, FreeburgAfter an agonized search for a dogsitter we could trust, we received a warm recommendation for Theuerkauf's Tails, and what a relief! Lauren takes the responsibility of other people's animals seriously, and she has a gift for quickly learning their ways and how to calm and delight them. With someone else, our standard poodle might have just lay glumly on his mat waiting for nine days, barely eating. Instead we see photos of him with a tennis ball in his mouth, eager for Lauren to play; photos of him looking up at her adoringly (can't fake that) or sprawled on her lap; photos of him snuggled on the electric blanket she brought, cuddled close to her while she read aloud to him! She raised the bar for us--we came home to a calm, happy dog who now expects all that extra attention daily! She also calmed us by staying another night with no complaint when our overseas flight was abruptly canceled, and she left the house immaculate, the lights on, and Little House on the Prairie playing on tv (it really is soothing). She's funny, clever, smart, conscientious, warm, professional but so human it was like having a family member in our home. She's a Mary Poppins for pups, and we recommend her wholeheartedly. We finally enjoyed a carefree trip without a single pang of guilt or worry.
