Flying Fur Grooming Salon
2249 Nebraska Ave, St. LouisAimee is literally the best groomer in STL! We have taken our dogs here for YEARS! Our dogs, Leo and Willow, always looked and smelled soooo good when we would pick them up! She is very caring and gives the proper attention needed for both of our dogs.
Leo has severe arthritis in his hip and elbow dysplasia so being groomed isn't easy for him. Aimee has worked miracles and made it so easy for him, and he's not nearly as sore as I know he could be when we pick him up.
I truly believe that Aimee treats all her clients as if they were her own. If I didn't have to move hours away from STL, then I never would've stopped using her. Please, if you're in or around TGP, then take your babies here. They will be well looked after! Me, Leo, and Willow are going to miss you greatly!! <3

Pet Care

Central West End Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care
4131 Lindell Blvd, St. LouisWe had such an incredible experience with Dr. Klein and the entire team. From start to finish, the level of thoroughness and white-glove service truly stood out. Dr. Klein took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring we felt informed and confident every step of the way.
We have a Bengal kitten who requires some breed-specific considerations, and we were so impressed by the care and accommodations provided. When our little one was neutered there, the process was seamless, professional, and handled with such compassion.
What meant the most to us was how warmly everyone treated our kitten — they referred to him as our “kid,” which made us feel like we were among people who genuinely understand how much our pets mean to us. Even the reception team was kind, welcoming, and attentive.
This is truly customer service at its finest — professional, thorough, and incredibly warm. Wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Klein and the entire establishment to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

I'm confident that they'll be equally helpful in the future when we go back.

Hampton Animal Hospital
2826 Hampton Ave, St. LouisI’ve brought two of my cats here for dental work - one received minor work and the other had a full mouth extraction done. The team here was wonderful throughout the process and kept me in the loop with how the cats were doing when waking up from surgery. You can tell how much Dr. Christensen cares for each animal she interacts with from the moment she steps in the room!
I also appreciate that this office worked with me on a payment plan for the dental bill. While the price was reasonable for the work done, it was more than I could cover at one time so I was able to break it down into more manageable payments.

St Louis Veterinary Center
1611 S Grand Blvd, St. LouisWe had a wonderful reception at this clinic! Everyone from the receptionist (missed her name) to the tech, Chrissa, to the vet, Dr. Dillon, were friendly, welcoming and kind. Both Chrissa and Dr. Dillon got down on the ground to introduce themselves to our dog. The dog is a 3 year old rescue and we had been told by a previous clinic she would need sedation for nail clipping. The staff here were willing to take the time to work through her anxiety and get her nails clipped. They took their time with us and explained everything they were doing. Highly recommend!

Our German Shepherd, Jerry Lee was diagnosed with Lymphoma, when he passed away Dr. Brooks and the Vet team took the time to sign a thoughtful card and provide and beautiful hand painted paw print and memorial fur urn. It didn’t go unnoticed. We truly appreciate everything Affton Vet has done to help our pets and will continue to come here for their care.

Luckily the Doc was not concerned and didn’t try and upsell any of the tests the proposed. Hometown Veterinary Partners Crestwood
9575 Watson Rd, St. LouisFirst time experience. I will be taking my other pets to see the staff at this veterinary office from now on. Last week my cat was doing very poorly (old age, 19 years) and it was time to make that awful decision all us pet owners dread. They were incredibly compassionate and caring in our time of need. They got us in within the hour. They didn't rush us or make us feel like we were an inconvenience. They explained everything beforehand. My other vet of 8 years (the receptionist mainly) had no compassion or sympathy when I called to make the original appointment to have my cat humanely euthanized and when I called them back to cancel because she passed away the same receptionist didn't even say she was sorry for our loss. I highly recommend this place. Very clean and sweet people ❤

Arch City Dog Boarding
6256 Gravois Ave, St. LouisWe just did a test run before our vacation for our dog that has some stranger danger. Very thankful several people from the shelter recommended Arch City. The meet and greet was very helpful and helped set us at ease for our short trip. If you have a dog that does not love “going to summer camp” I would definitely recommend trying Arch City. They are very affordable and it makes a big difference knowing our girl is with someone that understands and cares for her.

Grateful Pets
1716 S Broadway, St. LouisI cannot say enough wonderful things about Richard and his team. I have been recommending him since he trained me and my first American Bulldog in 2016 and am beyond grateful to say he's been training (me again) and my second American Bulldog in 2025. If you know anything about American Bulldogs, they are gigantic, powerfully strong, stubborn and incredibly intelligent dogs with the biggest hearts I've ever seen, which makes training them quite the challenge for both the dog and the owner who loves them so dearly. Richard has been able to successfully establish a solid foundation of behavioral skills and emotional control with BOTH of my dogs as puppies while working patiently with me to help me understand their needs, best training habits and how to ensure consistency in my role as well. He is always willing to listen to my needs, encourage me in my shortcomings and do follow up sessions as needed. His office manager, Bren, was able to do a nail trim on my puppy in about 5 minutes when the vet swore she needed sedation. I truly can't imagine my gentle giants becoming as amazing as they are/have been with anyone else.

Good Dog Enrichment and Training
3801 Wyoming St, St. LouisWe fell in love with and adopted a snuggly puppy ... and quickly realized we were in over our heads. We'd never had a puppy, much less a people-reactive dog, or one that looooooved playing with other dogs so much. Thank goodness we found Good Dog to help us learn the science behind his reactivity, how to build a daily life that works for us and him, and how to read dog behavior (because not all dogs love him as much as he loves them).
But perhaps the best part of all is having a whole team of humans who understand our little guy and love him as much as we do. Big thanks to Cam, Archie, Kailey, Maggie, Cait, and the whole team for (a) making the effort to understand the dogs with big feelings and (b) making it so much fun to train with them.

Riverside Diner
8129 Reilly Ave, St. LouisWent on a Saturday morning around 10:00 off of a suggestion from the in-laws. It was unusually slow, according to the in-laws. We were told they had a lot of Door Dash orders and most of their usuals were out of town, so we got lucky! Everyone working was attentive and friendly. They have your standard breakfast options and a few specials, which Blueberry Lemon Curd French toast (I ordered and loved!) and Eggs Benny. I did substitute the hash browns casserole for roasted potatoes, per recommendation. They were great! My fiancée got the country fried steak with scrambled eggs and a biscuit. His country fried steak and biscuit were delicious. He thinks the biscuits may be homemade. His eggs weren't the best he's ever had, but he's kind of a scrambled egg snob, so nothing against Riverside! He'll probably go with the biscuits and gravy next time. It's definitely a deep hidden gem!

1201 Macklind Ave, St. LouisIt just smells so wonderful and there doesn't seem like there's one single animal inside that building. I just wonder what kind of chemicals that is that makes it smell like that doesn't have animals in it? LOL it can't be good to breathe in but then again I don't know what it was.
