“Hands down best experience with repair i’ve ever had. My partner and I are currently road tripping and had an issue with our van. We became pretty much stranded in Illinois so we went down to this shop for Mannie to take a look and diagnose an issue. He figured it out, we got the part overnighted, and the next day he fixed it. Mannie squeezed us into a spot and worked quickly to get us up and running again. He was so nice and the prices were unbeatable. Everyone there is so hardworking and won’t stop for anything. “Since I moved here from NJ I have been taking my car there for regular maintenance and any issues that come up. The owner is amazing. “My young son and I were driving to the Shedd Aquarium from Waukesha, WI when my check oil light came on. I will admit that I am completely ignorant when it comes to just about anything with cars, so I had no idea what kind of damage I could be doing to the car to continue driving, and I was a good 2 hours from home. I happened to find Kris Touhy Auto because I searched for a BP gas station close to me along my route -- and sure enough attached to the BP was this auto shop. I was shaken, I was embarrassed, I was rushed -- and the two men in the shop (an older gentleman and a younger man) immediately stopped what they were doing and both came out to check my oil level and fill it up -- for like pennies! They even showed my son (and me) how to do it. I can't say enough good things about these men and this shop. It seems like a simple, easy thing for most, but they saved the day for me, and it had a huge impact on my day. If I lived closer, you'd be my go-to! Thanks, gentlemen.”
“Lately, my car's engine has been dying and all the lights on the dashboard turn on while I'm still driving. The engine turns back on with no problem, but it happens randomly. I didn't know how much the dealer was going to charge but, I want to stop by repair shop first. Easy Car Repair mechanic wasn't sure he could fix the problem, but he said he would try. “It was around 6pm, and I noticed that my rear right tire's pressure is dropping drastically comparing to the rest of my tires. I stopped by here knowing most of the auto shops were closed already, but Shell still took my car in and inspected the rear right tire. They found there was a nail in my tire, and they repaired it in a very quick manner. I think the whole process took less than 10 minutes. Overall, I had a good experience, but the next day I found out that the proper way to repair tires is that you would have to remove the tire off the rim, and inspect the inner liner for possible additional damages. I know they did not remove my tire off the rim because I watched them fixed my tire hence the 4 star. (I mean if you are going to repair something, you have to repair the proper way, otherwise it will still pose potential danger)”
“We had a horrible night when a tub of white paint fell off a truck into the street and hit our car. 1/2 the car was covered in paint. We frantically drove here hopping to clean the car. They were closed but when seeing our car they quickly brought us back and 5-6 young men working her got almost all of the white paint cleaned off my car before it was too late. You guys are the best!!! Thank you again”

Case in point: I had some work done and while getting the estimate over the phone, I said , "oh and change the oil if it needs it. After I hung up my friend said "why did you say that? They're just going to say you needed it." I said, no they won't. Sure enough, I didn't need it and they didn't do it. What more can I say?”

“This gas station is currently up-and-coming so do not expect much from it because it currently lacks one thing that regular gas stations have which is an ATM. During my initial visit I spoke with the clerk and he mention that they were adding a few things that the previous owner did not have. Very friendly guy which I spoke to prior to grabbing snacks before work, which is why I dropped in in the first place.”
