“Five stars. Went here to pick up a Christmas gift. The store has a good selection of women's clothing, accessories like jewelry and purses, baby gifts, and decor. When checking out, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer a free gift wrapping (at least, during the holidays). The present came wrapped up in a nice box, complete with tissue paper, a fabric red ribbon, and a decorative ornament on top. Great local business!”

I was concerned because I knew my daughters feet grew out of “kids sizes” and Saxton has a variety of style and sizes to choose from.In addition, MaryBeth measured my daughter feet and we were able to get on different sizes to get what was most comfortable to her! Also the prices were by far the best I’ve seen and comparable to Amazon. The only difference is with Amazon you cannot get fitted, receive values advice, and try on difference sizes…... Saxton you can!! I highly recommend this location and will be back soon!”

The front door needs to be opened manually and the aisles may be very narrow for those with handicaps.”
“I have always had excellent service for over 15 years. I have a wide foot and issues with my feet. The orthotics they sell are better than Scheck and Siress. The orthotics don't fall apart like Scheck and Siress. $700.00 vrs $50... I'll stick with New New Balance from now on. Manager Matt runs a great operation. Now, all they need is some colors in the wide shoes”

“After being told by a “manager” at another location that this store had the item we were looking for in stock, we got there to them not having that item at all. The “manager” at the other store gave them the wrong number and they held the wrong shoes. These employees went above and beyond to try and turn our experience into a good one. “Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”

“Best boot buying experience I have ever had. Very HONEST, patient, and helpful staff. Amicable and attentive. Not pushy at all. Very knowledgeable about everything they sell. Very large selection of items in stock.I called in advance, and requested that they hold 2 different pairs of boots for me, as they only had 1 pair left of each in my size... the young lady on the phone, was not there when I arrived later that day. But she left the boots right by the front door for me, with my name on them.I tried on several other pairs of boots as well, several times each. Drew was very patient, and I could tell, that he wanted to make sure I was 100% content with my choice. He didn't try to upset me into more expensive boots that had features I didn't need. I spent about 30 minutes deciding between 2 different pairs of boots, and I didn't feel rushed at all... even though the store was closing within the hour.I will only go to this Red Wing store from here on out... and there are several other locations much closer to me. Ended my visit with a handshake from Drew, the gentleman that helped me. This store, raises the bar for how every business should be run, in my humble opinion. This location is the epitome of an "American owned and operated" company.I am very happy with my entire experience, and with the boots I chose. Thank you again, Drew!
