“I had a wonderful experience at Xtra Mile! Both the owner Chris and the associate Kevin who I worked with were super resourceful and patient in helping me find the right running shoes for me. Appreciated the gait analysis they do at the store (having you walk/run on the treadmill and analyzing your video) and shoe recs. Ended up getting Brooks Glycerin Max on sale, which I’m liking so far. Chris is very involved in the community too and tries to be a resource for runners of all levels. “I loved their free diagnostic exam for my feet, it helped me confirm and discover a lot of points about my necessities regarding my personal way of walking and feet structure. Staff is very helpful and guided me through diverse shoe models evaluation, they listen to you and give you the best type of shoe you need. Definitely recommend coming and take the exam so you know what's best for your feet even if you work retail.”

“We love this dance supply shop. We have made last minute stops for tights, dance shoes, and earrings and every time Marybeth is very knowledgeable, calm, and helpful. Case in point: It was the night before recital, and of course we could not find my girl's ballet slippers. It was 30 minutes before store closing and I knew we would not make it to Saxton on time. I called to see if I could sneak in an order still. I paid on the phone and picked up the ballet slippers at the music shop next door. Marybeth saves the day!”

“Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”

“I came to the Allen Edmonds store at Oak Brook with a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenue shoes that I’d snagged during the Anniversary Sale. Given that I’d ordered the shoes online and that this was my first pair of nice dress shoes, I wasn’t 100% sure they fit properly, and I was looking to get some advice from one of the sales associates on the fit. Michael dispelled my fears by having me try on the shoes in-store and inspecting the fit by hand, explaining each facet of the fit and why my current size fit well. For extra reassurance, he also brought out a pair in the other size that I was considering to try on, to which he explained why the size I didn’t go with didn’t quite fit properly. Lastly, he explained the recrafting process when the time comes and the different sole options that would be available. Overall, Michael made the visit quick and easy, and reassured me that I’d made the correct choice. Knowing better for next time, I’ll be sure to visit the Allen Edmonds store in Oak Brook for my next pair!”
“Marissa was absolutely wonderful. My 6yo daughter has exceptionally high sensory feelings on the top of her feet. It's extremely hard to buy shoes for her. Even brands that offer Wide Width don't always miss that zone on the top of the foot by the toes and she just can't wear them. Vans collaborated with Kpop Demon Hunters and my kids wanted them sooo bad.
Was able to get their sizes and when I brought them home .... Like I feared, she wouldn't be able to wear them. I went back to the store to return them with daughter in hand to try on other shoes praying we could find something that she would be able to wear.
I explained my concern to Marissa and she absolutely understood and patiently went through box after box after box after box with not even a hint of frustration (a pure Saint). She found a high top that was even in the Kpop DH collection in a different size to give her that extra wiggle room (Thank you @Vans for being one of the few brands to offer 1/2 sizes) and that smile my daughter had when they fit and were comfortable is the reason us parents will go out of the way for. That smile was everything! Thank you, Marissa for having such patience and understanding with the dedication to help us get a pair of shoes today. It meant the world to me!”

“Every time I shop at this location the customer service is excellent. Today and on previous visits Tally assisted me by setting my fitting room and finding outfits and clothes. She is great about asking the occassion/event and what look I'm going for. Once she has that info she goes to work! With the store having such a large inventory and tons of looks Im very grateful she assisted me today. When I was waiting a few minutes in line for a cashier she even called for backup. Elijah was my cashier who is always pleasant snd professional. My only con for the visit was that the music was too loud.
