“A few days ago, I desperately looked for a local mechanic/shop to help me do a very simple thing that I attempted do myself. I had to replace both lowbeam bulbs in my car. My hands are kind of arthritic so I was having much difficulty. I drove around the neighborhood and found Lincoln Wilson Auto Service. I walked in and asked for help. A gentleman with the shop told me to pull my car in. I'm sure he sensed my desperation and proceeded to switch out the bulbs for me. No charge. I am grateful for the patience and professionalism of the mechanic who helped me. Sadly, I am forgetting his name, but will be returning for future services. Thanks to this Good Samaritan.”

“Caliber Collision on Howard Street in Skokie has just made the third repair on one of my cars, FYI: Before becoming a consultant design engineer, I owned and operated an auto body shop in Southern California. When I tell you that ther work is flawless, you are getting it from a very authotative source. THeir communication is equyally outstanding. THey explain thing in simple terms that anone can understand and keep their customer in the loop with frequent text messages advising them on progress. THe coofee and pop cord in their waiting room is also excellent. I and insurance companies trust them and so can you, If some fool hit one of my cars again, yjr only good thing is that I will get to visit my friends at Caliber.”

“I called EXSA Automotive because I noticed a coolant leak on my van, and they scheduled me for an appointment the next day. I dropped off my van in the early afternoon and it was fixed by the early evening. They explained the situation well and I was happy with the quality of their work. I expressed concerns of taking my van across the state on a 6 hour drive, and they cleared it to be safe.

They listened to my concerns about the symptoms of my vehicle’s transmission and exhaust and other mechanical problems and was able to diagnose and offer a fix/ resolution. Their entire staff: Nomie, Umair, Diego, Khurram & Saqib provided peace of mind and excellent auto repair. Nomie is well known within the car community and is known as an incredible mechanical engineer. I drove more than 1.5 hours in traffic and it was well worth it. Nomie fixed my problematic transmission driveshaft issue and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. Also repaired an exhaust issue. After he repaired everything, my car drove much smoother and more efficiently and is back to great health. They’re able to order parts and have a quick turn around time as well as have fair pricing. “After the dealership was going to charge me over $600 to replace a hood latch because of rust I was given a recommendation of All Cars Auto. Eric took a look and said you probably don’t need a new latch, you just have some rust. He sprayed the latch with lubricant and rust remover, worked the latch up and down and I was good to go. He even didn’t charge me for his time. Great place!”
