“Brought in coins from my dad’s collection. I tried to find out the cost of coins on my own and was overwhelmed. Then didn’t even know how to begin to sell them. Went to Oakton Coins and Collectables. They went through them and gave me a price. We sold to them and trusted they were being fair! I’ll probably never know but made that deco to sell to them. Hard to part with my dad’s collection but we lived in Oakton for my entire youth and young adult life. Maybe meant to be.”

“This place is heaven to all aviation enthusiasts that like to collect model airplanes! This small shop has tons of aircraft from both commercial and military! I got around 30 Daron airplanes and the guy checking me out gave us a discount and a free safety manual! If you are in the Chicago area and like aviation I would recommend this place to you!”

They got a good little hidden selection of slotcars unfortunately they don't know enough to help other people ,with questions or carry new tires for the slotcars.”

“I have been wanting to visit one of the Goat stores for some time now. They have a good selection of games, it's just hard to find something I want when I already have over 300 games but the store attendant was very patient with me as I vacillated whether to buy anything or not. I didn't ask her name, unfortunately, and had several conversations with her in the meantime. She's a good salesperson, though, she convinced me to buy Marvel Zombies which I never really wanted in my collection but hearing her description made me change my mind...and besides, I had to buy something for fear of her thinking I was some sort of creep loitering around. ?”

Moses is an absolute gem human and we stayed in the shop for an hour just chatting with him. We spent money, and got some amazing stuff, but the experience we had conversing with him was the best part of our time in the city. More people should be like him in life! Horror movie knowledge and just genuine cool knowledge too.

The skateboards really brought me back to my childhood, I was like a little kid in a candy store and Chris was WillyWonka, haha! Big Shout Out to you Chris, simply coolest guy, always attentive to customers, answering questions, interacting with everyone, making you feel very welcomed, I just wanted to say thank you for making our first visit the coolest ever!!!

I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”

“Where to start with Magic Inc. One word, GREAT!!!I love magic, but it's hard and expensive and takes skills, right. Well, yeah. (full disclosure, I am a beginner with magic, and this is the second magic store I have been to, for what it is worth...)But, if you are in Chicago and want to dip your toes into this skill, magic, you have to go to Magic Inc. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular just to hang out and learn from the staff and clients.Even if you just want to go to an incredibly awesome store, head to Magic Inc. No intimidation here what so ever!Friendly and professional staff that just happen to be magicians! Wow.Just walk in, say you want to learn a little about magic, and you will see some amazing things that you just might walk out with. I went in for two decks of cards and left with a great 'how to' book and two other tricks that I, a beginning magician, could do (at least my great neices think so...)Thanks, Pedro, for making my visit incredible! Can't wait to get back for another visit - Magic Inc. is, well, magical!!!”
“My husband and i sort of wandered in (i didn't think it was open since you can't tell from the street) but we got buzzed in and WOW was it worth it, an amazing collection, some of which my husband recognized from his childhood with plenty of toys and models with all sorts of themes. GREAT stock of Horror stuff and a super friendly lady at the counter. We will absolutely be back, this place is a hidden gem and well worth the trip on a rainy Satuday afternoon.”

Dating back to their original storefront in Winnetka and now downtown Wilmette, Bleachers’ art pieces are unique, eye catching, and professionally appointed. Yes, the prints, sports jerseys, and other inventory are rare, but it all really comes together with the expert framing. The matting around the piece always brings out the colors even more, transforming it to a true piece of art that looks wonderful on my home walls. Furthermore, upon request, they will procure rare prints via their network connections. It’s always a pleasant shopping experience at Bleachers in Wilmette. My basement walls would agree.”

If your looking for something extremely specific I would call first a few days before so he can set it aside, at times they are busy. And cannot hunt the very rare and obscure. None the less I love the shop but no longer live in the state.”
