“This is the kind of tennis store you’re looking for! Now confession I used to manage a very busy pro shop just outside of New York City so I am calibrated for this kind of experience. But the shop hits all of its spots! I got the top brands and a full inventory. Now you should know that prices are largely fixed by the manufacturers these days, so it really will benefit you to shop local. If you are striking the rock, swinging in the sticks, or getting ready to grind out three sets start here.”

“Visited the Dick Pond location in Hoffman Estates after being a long-time patron of the Park Ridge location, and was incredibly impressed and pleased by the level of service and the selection of shoes. It’s been a few years since I’d been out running daily and knew that Dick Pond would be the spot to go for a new pair of trainers. I worked with Mark, who ultimately fitted me up in a pair of Brooks Glycerin 23s. Great shoes, and once again I will say that I had a wonderful experience. I will be back very soon! 6/25/26: Adding to my review as I've just worked with Stella on picking up a new pair of speed shoes. Mark helped transfer the two pairs of shoes I was interested in from one store to this location for my convenience. The service was so great I wound up taking home both pairs. Even picked up a new pair of shades! 😎 Once again, the service was top notch. I have no problem patronizing a small business, and shopping local. Thanks again!!”

“Nothing short of amazing! Took my son in to get fitted for a new bat, Steve asked a bunch of questions and let him hit what he recommended and also what my son thought “ was cool”. Steve showed him the difference in each bat and how it affected his swing. My son and I both felt very confident in the bat they both selected and agreed worked and felt the best. Gave us a very good price , lower than anything I had seen online. I would have paid more or theoretically whatever price he told us , as he had our full trust. Steve then told us exactly how to break in the new bat in order to get the best results.

“This store is so cute. I was gifted a backpack a year ago and finally went in to get it embroidered on Black Friday, nonetheless. I left it while I shopped around the mall. The staff was friendly and very efficient. If you have a cheerleader, you need to go check out the merch at the Cheer Shoppe!!!”

“This is a nice store with a lot of nice things for outdoor adventuring and recreation. The vast majority of it is out of my comfortable spending range, but I find a couple sale priced shirts to buy. I was told by the staff that, as a non-member, I have 90 days to decide whether I'm satisfied and return items I'm not happy with, so that's nice.
The store was hard to find with Google Maps. The pin for the store was st the entrance to the large shopping complex, not at the store itself. I called the store for assistance and they helped me find it.”

“Course was in great shape. Greens rolled true and were in really good shape for a public course. Pace was a little slow at times but everyone was friendly and kept it moving...it was a holiday weekend so not bad for a packed course. My favorite part of the day was the beverage cart person. I believe her name was Marta. We saw her about four times and tipped generously. She took some pictures for us and was just a kind person .She also brought us some food towards the end of our round...we were famished, so it was perfect timing and went well beyond our expectations. Thank you Marta! You made a great day even better!”
