“I have had the pleasure of visiting 847RC several times over the past month or so and I had to share what a special place the team over there have curated. When I first began my running journey in 2008 there were only proper running stores in Downtown Chicago where I could get a proper fitting for my stride. Those days are so long gone thanks to 847RC! ??♀️Now, I can simply call upon my friends down the street at 847 to help me feel my best while I pound the pavement. “I had a really excellent experience with Fitness Warehouse buying a Precor elliptical. First of all, Richard and Boris were a delight to work with. Kind, informative, and attentive throughout the entire process. Secondly, the reconditioned machine they picked for me is a great one...it's only "gently used" and arrived to me reconditioned, clean, and in excellent condition. Richard handled everything with personal attention, and Boris even called me on a Saturday night to check whether the machine had arrived yet...how many companies do THAT! All told, a wonderful experience and I'd do it again.”

“I love the people and the sales...I hate their animal husbandry skills. Who ever cares for the tank and fish are lazy...sloppy...insensitive and not worth paying. I used to enjoy seeing the fish and tanks but now it is so disgusting I try to pass by without looking. They can do better...please get these fish healthy and be empathetic to their small lives. Yes I eat fish but I don't intentionally make them suffer!”
“I've always been aware of the Athleta brand (and had bought it for others) but I didn't really start purchasing for myself until this year (and then I became obsessed). Global spending on athleisure wear was over $330 billion last year and is projected to grow almost 10 percent each year. Probably half of my new clothes this year was Athleta. I love that I can wear these clothes to the studio or to work or to dinner. I like the materials and the little details like pockets on dresses, thumbholes on sweatshirts, drawstrings to cinch in the waist, and cargo pockets on pants. The fabrics are durable, machine-washable and soft. Athleta is pricey but they have incredible sales. This location is pretty well stocked and most of the staff is approachable and helpful. On one visit they were especially nice to my elderly relative. This is centrally located in the Hawthorn Mellody shopping center with plenty of parking. With your purchase you receive a silver branded Athleta tote.”
